Boehner Takes Shot Across Obamacare’s Bow

In an interview on Face the Nation, House Speaker John Boehner said of Obamacare, “this has to be ripped out by its roots.”

Sowing a little salt afterward wouldn’t hurt either. Obamacare esse delendam.

  1. Joan – I haven’t read any speculation on this yet, but I’m wondering… wouldn’t this be a good time for a handful of precariously-situated Senate Democrats to distance themselves from this unpopular President and his unpopular legislation?

  2. Joan likes me…she called me “sunshine.” She’s got a thing for frogs.

Joan, most of the legislation passed by democrats has been passed illegally – including the Obamacare vote that was passed through “reconciliation.” Liberals are relentless. They never stop. If they can’t get it done legally, they either bend rules of just plain get it done illegally. Meanwhile, Boehner has NO plan…ever! Yet, he wants to be Speaker of the House so badly he doesn’t have the class to step aside. He saunters to a microphone and mumbles nonsense about writing letters to Obama to express his disapproval. This is the same useless tool that sauntered to the microphone to “ask all of my colleagues who’s conscience will allow them” to vote for the original George W “bailout” that started the ball rolling in the rush to destroy the United States within a few short years. Following the 2010 landslide election (which the Tea Party, not the Republican party, brought about). Once Boehner holds this vote, knowing it is not going to go anywhere, he will once again say that he “kept his promise” and tried to repeal healthcare…oh, well.

We need a leader that realizes this isn’t a game. In a representative republic, we send congressmen and senators to Washington in our stead, to carry out our wishes. We don’t want this – so, it’s up to them to get rid of it. Boehner is of the mentality that you hold a vote, then if you lose you say “good game” to your opponents and move on. Just as in the findings of the 9/11 commission, in socialist democrats we are facing an enemy that our representatives have been unwilling to admit has been “at war” with us for many years. All’s fair in war. It’s time we had leaders that – like our Founding Fathers – are willing to do WHATEVER is necessary to defend the Constitution and people of the United States from enemies, here or abroad.

  3. Harvey, your nit has been picked.

I’m gonna take this Boehner guy at his word for the moment. In fact I want to give him enough rope. I know that he may not follow through with proper enthusiasm, but at that point, there’ll be millions of rabidly angry Tea Partiers breathing down his neck in a way as to make him cry as he never has before.

I deeply loath traitors. I’m guessing a number of Tea Partiers feel the same way.

  4. I would say collect recall signatures for all senators and congressmen in your area, saying that you request recall if the vote against repeal. Make sure your local politicians know you mean business.

It’s time to treat politicians like disobedient dogs, swat them with a rolled up constitution and rub their noses in Obamatax until they learn not to do it again.

  5. Weird. When Frank used “Instapundo Delenda Est” as a motto in his War on the Puppy Blender, we had people swearing up and down that it should’ve been “Instapundo Esse Delendam”
