The complete e-book version of “Fun Facts About the 50 States” is now available at Amazon.com.
If you don’t have a Kindle, you can download free Kindle apps for your web browser, smartphone, computer, or tablet from Amazon.com
And yeah, I kept the stupid stick figure on the cover. I lack the artistic talent to create anything fancier.
Sorry, Son of Bob.
any chance of getting it for Nook?
You can convert the file for use on a Nook (among other things), but that may be a hassle for some.
Bought it. It better be funny or I’m telling Frank that you get 50% more for your book than he got for his.
By the way, I just bought it Harvey, so you have at least one sale so far. Don’t spend your share of the $3.00 all in one place.
Bought it. It better be funny.
Also, you better buy my book when it comes out, sometime in the next quarter century.
BTW, a wise man once said something to the effect of “Why would people pay for something when they can get it for free?” I believe it was Homer Simpson, in “The Simpsons Movie,” but I could be mistaken.
Homer’s absolutely right. Why the hell would anyone buy this?
Damned if I know. Mostly I just cleaned up all the typos and grammatical errors.
I changed a few lines for some stuff that was really weak or horribly dated. It’s maybe 5% different than what’s already on the internet. For free.
But the format might be a portability convenience to some folks.
And other folks might want to buy it as the internet equivalent of buying me a beer.
Those are the only reasons I can think of, though.
Being the definitive reference to the true history of the states, it’s invaluable to have the entire series in one convenient spot so you can impress people with the knowledge within.
It’s also fun at parties.
Thing is, the first half of the majority of the facts are at least “internet true”, so it’s marginally educational.
You can just never take an entire fact at face value.
Harvey, you’re so damn good at writing. You need to keep publishing and writing forever until you write your bucket list.
I bought it, and then couldn’t access it or any of the other books on my Kindle for PC app.
So I reloaded the app and ta-da! it was all good again.
Bravo Harvey!
