I love the Atlantic on this “Just How Racist Is the ‘Obama Phone’ Video?”. Anything critical of Obama is racist; why waste time arguing the degree?
Isn’t this the racket of the Democrats, though? They give people free stuff and say, “If you want to keep getting free stuff, vote for us!” So they’re bribing people for votes, but it’s perfectly legal because instead of using their money to bribe people, they’re using our money.
Yeah, the way we treat spending in government is insane. Of course, as always, I have solutions for this in my new book. We have to completely change our attitudes on government spending, because eventually they’re going to run out of our money. And how well do you think this ideal Obama voter is going to survive when the government isn’t there for her anymore?

Are racists using this video? Yes. Does that make anyone talking about it racist? No, because it exposes a real (and disturbing) mindset among some people who are bound to vote Democratic. It would be just as bad if the person were white (and I know there are white (and asian, and hispanic, etc.) people out there who think the same way).
It doesn’t help that she has a terribly grating voice, though.
The way I understand it all people who disagree with Obama are racists…except black folks who disagree with him. They automatically morph into what is known as…an Uncle Tom. I think the politically correct crowd has used the term ‘racist’ to the point where it has become meaningless and has lost much of it’s clout. Especially in this day and age where the main purpose of it’s usage is to silence dissent. Sorry lefties, It just doesn’t work as well any more. So is this film racist? Nope, not as far as I’m concerned…it’s just about a really stupid person who happens to be black.
Maybe if people like this didn’t live up to every single racist stereotype in the book, there wouldn’t be so many racists using it. Ditto for the people Howard Stern ‘interviewed’, he’s done it twice now with exactly the same result, the Obama money woman from 2008 etc etc
Note to Mitt: carry this video with you and when someone accuses you of not caring about the “47%”, whip out the phone and play it.

This woman, with her moon face, four-foot high, four-foot wide body, reminds me of a dead-on-serious manifestation of the old Flip Wilson drag-satire character “Geraldine”.

So this “woman”? says osutpid gave her a free phone. Like most dhimocrats, to stupid to realize it was joey that gave her the phone god love him. Why just the other day he was on the seventh fairway talking to the occupant while wiping his brow, and said; water boy, we should bribe the stupid with free phones. then axlerod in his muffled voice said your right. The occupant of course said he needed to sleep on it, then missed his putt by a mere 300 yards. Which he called a mulligan and recorded a birdey. Then biden saw something glimmer and bent over to take a look at it and got infiltrated by a back door trojan. Then sandra fluck said to the occupant, why can’t you pay for my phone and my contraception? and my abortions because the phone didn’t keep me from getting knocked up? Thus this video is racists.
What drives me nuts about this video isn’t the politics or the stupidity…

I’ve got to say that after being out of work for over a year and filling out hundreds of applications I’m thinking that if Obama get reelected I’m just going to apply to be a Welfare Queen. Obama gonna pay my mortgage, put gas in my car, food on my table and give me a cell phone ( which I now can’t afford).

Well, to be fair, she wasn’t voting for Mr. Obama just because of the free phone. You may have missed her well reasoned and articulated objections to Mr. Romney; I quote “He sucks. Bad”. So there’s that…
@13 John……I agree. Having seen the wisdom and the depth of this woman’s objection to Mr. Romney is a sobering comeuppance for us all. No doubt most of us will, accordingly, yield to the might of this lady’s reasoning and adjust our thinking about this entire matter.
