Annoying Liberals

John Hawkins has his list of the 20 most annoying liberals of 2012. Still, as conservatives, I think we have to work harder on not getting annoyed. The left are basically trolls trying to break our calm, and we can’t let them have that little victory. While they’re going on about their nonsense politics, we still have jobs and family and bacon to contend with and can’t be wasting our time being irritated by their silliness. In 2013, we need to work harder at just shaking our heads and saying, “Oh, you silly liberals,” and just moving on. And we’ll do that in 2014 and 2015 as well. But in 2016, I will be elected president and all the irritation and anger we saved up will be unleashed as we tear down all this government they value so much. While we laugh and laugh, they will cry and weep — at least at the few liberals we keep around for amusement and didn’t deport to Antarctica.

  1. I think that in 2014 there needs to be an even bigger push to get the 1/3 or senate seats that will be up for election/reelection on the GOP side of things and expand the GOP presence in the house. It won’t give us full control, probably won’t be able to over ride any vetos, but it will be better than now where all we can do is put the breaks on bad laws like more gun control.

  2. Er…[ahem] [ahem]…2010…2012.

We’ve tried the rally ’round the flag, boys! bit…unfurling the colors and riffing the ruffles and flourishes on the field drums. Couldn’t snatch victory in either election cycle thanks to the overwhelming numbers of the Dumbed Down cohort who feared for their federally-provided monthly gimmies.

The best that can be done is flipping the game on the Left by claiming minority status as free-thinking, independent-minded, English-speaking citizens. (Because we damned sure are not in the majority-silent or otherwise.)

  3. Don’t deport liberals to Antarctica. Imagine what they would do to the poor penguins. I say we deport them to Mexico, Argentina, China, or Russia (though, I’m open minded, we could deport them to all those places).
