Random Thoughts: Race, Supreme Court, and Tech

Kinda disingenuous when the people doing everything they can to make sure blacks don’t vote GOP wonder why the GOP doesn’t have more blacks.

So how many votes does a Supreme Court verdict need to be a landslide?

Whatever the decision on Prop 8 is, I just hope Roberts doesn’t do anything cutesy again.

I was against gay marriage but now I’ve evolved and can shoot lasers out my eyes.

As a kid, I thought we’d have a Mars base by now, but I didn’t factor in that 90% of technological advancement would be phone related.

  1. Becoming more convinced by the day that only five members of the court have any guts — and unfortunately we only have three of them.

We’re almost up to where you can fax a rifle; how long until you can fax a phone? How little sense would that have made five years ago?

    “Fax? Ha! You oldster!” Blam!

  2. “Kinda disingenuous when….” What does that say about their true opinion of blacks? It’s like they see them as a bunch of game pieces that they can manipulate, and nobody will ever catch on. I think it only works as long as blacks allow it to. And the rest of us are the ones who are racist? This has been going on forever, and it’s BS. Somebody correct me if I’m wrong.
As far as the gay marriage thing, maybe we should all just be glad that so far they haven’t made it mandatory for everyone….

  3. REPUBLICAN LEADERSHIP: “I hope we lose on the gay marriage issue, because then it will be done and we won’t have to deal with it anymore and we can begin the process of giving up and losing other important issues.”

  5. Son of Bob got it right…from the GOP leadership’s view, they figure as long as they’re getting beat up on the gay marriage issue, we won’t notice the fact that they’re not doing squat about the 2nd Amendment. “Hey look..everyones distracted by this gay marriage business, now’s our chance to cave on all this other stuff…”

  6. Sean Hannity had 2 ministers on his radio show yesterday. The one in favor of ghey marriage said that if Jesus was alive today, he’d be in favor of ghey marriage. Dude, I hate to have to remind you of this, you being a minister and all, but if you don’t know that Jesus IS alive today, maybe you should consider another line of work!
