Robin?

RobinTired of being all ticked off over Ben Affleck being cast as the new Batman?

Wait until you hear about Robin.

If you’re to believe what was posted up on the Instagram, it might just be … Justin Bieber.

Seriously.

I’m not sure what to think. I mean, isn’t he … Canadian?

A Canadian Robin? Wouldn’t that be like having a Canadian Captain Kirk?

But, what do you think? With Ben Affleck as the new Batman, who would be a good Robin?

  1. Michael Cera. Oh…never mind! He’s Canadian, too! I do see a pattern here, however. Ryan Reynolds is Canadian also, so they hired him to play Green Lantern. Just look how that movie turned out. When it comes to movies, DC is no Marvel. Dark Horse Comics has resurrected Captain Midnight. I’m happy.

  2. Since Ben Affleck is rolling hard behind his directing juice why not let him do what he did in Gone, Baby, Gone and hire his kid bro Casey? Twice the Affleckery in an unprecedented approach to the Batmanic story…lack of nuanced thespic/dramatic skill aside…how much worse could this run at the franchise get?

Find the Twitter account and Facebook page for whoever is producing and directing this thing and blow it up calling for Casey Affleck as Robin

It’s that or they call in Peter Dinklage for the role.

  3. I said it before, the original Batman TV show was a comedy, they are just going back to the original Batman theme. At last.
I actually look forward to seeing Robin saying “Holey (insert some random noun) Batman!”, and maybe Batman running across the boardwalk carrying a big old timey villain bomb. Or maybe have a giant clam be one of the perils the dynamic duo have to face.
Or maybe they can have Snidely Whiplash or Boris Badenov as the main villains this time. Whoops, that’s from something else.
