  1. Oddly, or not, what is happening in California is that since the state has decided stealing items with a value under $950 shoplifting has sky rocketed. But it doesn’t end there. The criminals than have another person return it and demand a refund so the store pays for it again. The item gets stolen and… well, ad infinitum. The great circle of life West coast style.
