UPDATE: Homebase is now fully operational. I have power and cable (i.e., internet access). Expect IMAO to resume regular operation by the end of the week.

That happened to me one time. My alarm in my apartment was going off, and the landlord had to go unplug it.
The thing that was interesting was I had my Glock resting on the top of it, and my landlord never said anything about it.
He was cool that way.

Back in June 2001, we got on average of 30-40 inches of rain in a 24-hr period when tropical storm/depression Allison took its sweet time in passing Houston and decided to double back for an encore. Curiously enough, when hurricane Alicia (a Cat 3 hurricane) came through Houston in ’84, it didn’t do nearly the damage Allison did, even in adjusted 2004 dollar value.
Sometimes the hurricane is just so much sound and fury, signifying nothing when a dinky tropical storm leaves a soggy $5 billion+ tab.
Glad things are more or less okay. Hope Ivan does an abrupt turn north and dies a cool death in the North Atlantic!

I guess that Ben Barnes is comming out with this little tid-bit of old dirt out of the goodness of his heart…. yeah, right!

If i thought it were me, I would toss myself over for the good of all
It will be like finding a needle in a haystack…i think we should go back a month and get a list of all the new arrivals here in the state. Tough but not impossible. When confronted they will fess up as Jonah did…we have to do this before Sunday or Monday

I got deployed on maneuvers when I was in Korea. Inadvertently left Quadrophenia blasting on the stereo – autoreverse – when I moved out, as the last few minutes of dead tape was playing and I forgot to turn it off. Two or three days later, I came back to the hooch, Quadrophenia blasting on the stereo. No one said a word, and I tipped the houseboy with a bottle of PX whiskey.
