  1. Didn’t one of the Moon Nukers say he’d once worked in a radio station? I vaguely remember that. He might have an edge. Or not. Who knows on what Walrus is going to fixate?

I need puzzles like “Songs with the name ‘Roxanne’ in the title for $100” to stand a chance.

Or show me twelve Beatles songs and I might get it.

    • Well, I’d only worked in radio for about a quarter of a century, but most radio guys have a much better knack for music trivia. If I tried to remember every title and artist, there wouldn’t be any room in my brain for anything else.
But I’ve accumulated countless “you had to be there” stories.
One time, a girl called in to request a song–she wanted to hear “Tall Treason.” I was confused, never heard of it, and asked her who the artist was. She said, “I think Alan Jackson.” Oooooh. The title was close, but the lyrics she heard were:
“I’ll buy you tall, tall trees and all the waters in the seas, I’m a fool, fool, fool for you.”
