It starts:
Several weeks ago the Office of Intelligence and Analysis at the Department of Homeland Security released a report – coordinated with the FBI – that examined the potential threats from right-wing extremist groups where it concerns domestic, homegrown terrorism.
The open and constant instigators of the sort of violence described in the report populate, like so many mutating viruses, talk radio and television and operate with complete impunity hiding, as they do, behind the guarantees of the First Amendment – guarantees that they, swine like Glenn Beck, Limbaugh, Hannity, Boortz, et al, have no problem denying rational people.
It loses points for only having childish name-calling instead of actual jokes, but if someone had submitted this to me as a parody of typical spittle-spraying progressive invective, I’d probably still give it a good, solid B-
I’m rather amused by that “hiding behind the First Amendment” bit, though. The First Amendment is a shield against government reprisal. “Hiding behind” is what shields are for.
He probably cussed out Leonidas for not blocking that first volley of arrows with his chest, too.

How did I miss this? Clinton played this to extreme effect, and it would be child’s play for Holder. After all, Janet Reno created stupendous media productions:
Media Production #1: Amassed APC’s, snipers, helicopters, National Guard, the Corp of Engineers (to build roads for the armored vehicles), police, dogs and BATF agents versus a plywood cottage at Ruby Ridge.
Media Production #2: Amassed tanks, helicopters, National Guard and BATF culminating with her order to assault the building with tanks. (Of course she acted to save the children, which later led her to remark, “We had to kill the children to save the children.”)
For those keeping score at home:
* The first was initiated because a citizen had allegedly sawed off a shotgun.
* The second was initiated because a citizen had allegedly modified the receiver on an AR-15.
Who says liberals don’t know a thing about manufacturing?
I love liberals like this. They just prove that no matter how we satirize them, it can never be as hypocritical or insane as the real thing. Isn’t the first amendment one of the sacred texts for liberals (not to mention part of our constitution)?
We must silence our political enemies because their ideas are dangerous to the republic! Yup, that’s how democracy works alright.
When, I ask, when have conservatives simply moved to silence liberals? I guess McCarthy is the last time, and he was just a power-grabbing nut whose political leanings are almost irrelevant. Yet the left loves to look for reasons why freedom of speech simply doesn’t apply to its enemies.
