  1. I was with some young coworkers the other day and said that I could remember when ATMs were the great new innovation, freeing us from lines at the bank and allowing us to access cash outside of banking hours.

    To say they looked at me not understanding what I was talking about would be putting it mildly.

  2. And not so long ago many, even highly populated areas had their Blue Laws, with almost no businesses open on Sunday except restaurants and convenience stores. Imagine, today, whole shopping malls closed for half of the weekend, no beer runs and three channels on the television.
