  1. Now the guy’s got Paulie as a partner. Any problems, he goes to Paulie. Trouble with the bill? He can go to Paulie. Trouble with the cops, deliveries, Tommy, he can call Paulie. But now the guy’s gotta come up with Paulie’s money every week, no matter what. Business bad? “Screw you, pay me.”

  2. Retweet if you think these 28 million Americans deserve a raise so I can take 12% of it in FICA, then I can turn around and give it back to them as “earned” income tax “credits”, thus reminding them, once again, who to vote for.

Sure, raise the minimum wage AND, no more “withholding or employer “contributions”. Make them pay estimated taxes, self-employment tax, medicare tax etc etc AND pay for their own f’ing health insurance too. Like us …’rich’ people.

Let’s see how they like that arrangement.

  3. actually I don’t think that anyone whose skillset value has to be determined by mandate rather than market forces because its value is so low deserves a raise. In fact those are exactly the people that I don’t DON’T deserve a raise.

  4. for what its worth, i have seen adds for a robot that replaces the entire mcdonalds kitchen crew, ads for a setup to replace the ordering setup. The only thing left is the programer for the menu system, the person to hand the order over and the stupervisor.
