Firefly Fan Film – “THE VERSE”
Lower your expectations, it’s just a fan-film.
Basically, same universe, different ship, different characters.
Still, the tone and the attitude of the script are right, plus the music and lighting are perfect. The dialogue and acting are a little try-hard, though, which steps on the immersion a bit.
But until Whedon gives us a Firefly prequel, this’ll have to do. Popcorn instead of an evening at Olive Garden, but tasty enough if your mouth is bored.
