The Valour-IT fundraiser is still going on. Team Marines (which I’m on) is slightly ahead of Team Army, and they need to keep it that way or everyone will think that the Army is better than the Marines.
So please give generously. Unless you hate the troops… especially injured ones.

Army? Better than the Marines? Heck, anyone, not just the Army.
Now you’re just being silly with your worries, Frank.
Any one Marko? Any one? My dad (Retired Navy) once told me a joke: “Did you know you have to be at least 6 feet tall to join the Coast Guard? That way in case the boat sinks you can walk back to shore.”
Any way the Navy is the best branch. No one else has the kind of heavy equipment (Aircraft carriers and the like) that they do and no one else has SEALs. Obviously I have some bias with my dad being retired Navy but my older brother is in the Army and my younger brother is in the Air Force so it evens out a little.
Lechteron, I’m going to let you in on a secret. George Washington founded the Navy in 1775 because we had to have someone to carry the Marines around.
Lechteron, everyone knows that the Marine Corps is part if the Department of the Navy.
The men’s department.

“So please give generously. Unless you hate the troops… especially injured ones.”
That’s a plea that’s impossible to turn down. Well, for me at least.
I had the honor of visiting troops at the Walter Reed hospital once. My buddies and I came away feeling more blessed than we could have possibly blessed the patients there. I cannot tell you how many times we heard the phrase, “I just want to return to my unit,” even from men who were not likely to do so.
ARMY = Ain’t Ready to be Marines Yet!
Sempfer Fi, Carry On!
The Coast Guard is the highly trained core
Around which the Navy forms in time of war.
While we’re talking about causes and Marines, don’t forget to get Toys for Tots. HUGE sale at Toys R Us this week.
