Hurricanes are Mother Nature’s punishment for something…Janet Reno probably. You Floridians musta done a whopper though to have 2 on the way. How come they didn’t name the second hurricane “Clyde?” Just wondering
Hurricanes are Mother Nature’s way of thinning out the population.
They’re also really cool if you like wind tunnels. I remember trying to walk on the beach during Felix and kind of laying into the wind. Getting stung by sand flying at 70mph was a bit of a downer.
Stay safe, Frank. And go buy a generator so that if you lose power you can still put up posts!
They are upgrading Charley to a 4 within the hour. I’m not making anymore jokes about this. Last time I was in Florida my friend and I went on a road trip through the state. We stopped in Ft. Meyers and had a blast.

I don’t know where Frank lives, but here in the Jax area, there’s not much to be worried about. The outer edge of Bonnie gave us a couple tornados yesterday (made for sweet news broadcasts…but bad for people that it hit), and we’ll get the weaker side of Clyde tonight (the eye is gonna be just west of us). The two worst things about the storm to me: I didn’t get out of school, and I had to move all the loose wood around our house inside.
Do you consider hurricanes to be unlucky, or are they the result of bad luck?

this just in….Camp Chrystal lake was destroyed and a strange man with a hockeymask is headed to florida.
