He Should Have Laid the Beat Down on Some Norks

I’ve never been much into “Pro” Wrestling, but this story of Ric Flair’s visit to North Korea shouldn’t be missed.
And, while I’m linking, I have to say there are some times when Roger Ebert annoys me, but the true joy from his reviews is seeing him casually eviscerate some Hollywood schlock.
Oh, and my little post about Helen Thomas’s promising vow was prompted by an e-mail from The Apologist, to whom I apologize for not mentioning.

  1. What happened to the policy of changing the words of any poster who says, “First” (No, not me, the person above me)
I was going to avoid Stealth because I saw an interview with the nitwit actors. They were against unmanned aircraft because people didn’t die and we might like war that way.
First, if nobody dies, wouldn’t that be cool? Not a Star Trek/go to the disintegrator non-dying war, but one where nobody dies?
Second, the underlying point seemed to be that America would just start getting into wars if it was so easy.
The funny part is that I agree with that, I hope it becomes easy for us so we can start a bunch of new wars and not lose people. That way, the next time some lefty nitwit says that we should have invaded NoKo instead of Iraq Rumsfeld could say, ‘Good idea, we’re on the way.’
But now, if even Ebert thinks it’s lame, Hollywood boilerplate, I’m sure to miss it.
I should probably send you an email, but I’m really lazy so I’ll ask here.
Is it like the Wild West in Florida now? As you wrote, promises were made, ten-gallon-hats were bought.
