“Dear Buddha, I’d Like a Pony and a Second Season of Firefly”

A page has been started to promote there being a second season of Firefly. I know The Blender has mentioned this before, but sales of the previous season seem to indicate that there would be a good amount of money to make another season straight to DVD. There has yet to be a straight to DVD TV show, but watching a series off DVD is my preferred method of viewing. Maybe someone will do the math…

  6. I don’t even need the pony, but a second season of Firefly would be shiny!!!
    Would you guys want it to start where the first season left off, or at the end of the movie?
    I’d prefer the end of the last season. The end of the movie was sad for several reasons. I’d like as much time as possible with certain elements of the ‘verse that aren’t there at the end of the movie. I’d also like to meet Mr. Universe. He sounds like a cool guy. Of course, i’ll talk my Firefly any way I can get it.

  8. i’d want it at the end of the movie, but maybe with a couple of flashback shows, such as the things covered in the 3 comic books. because i would personally love to see the hands of blue men get what’s coming to them.

  9. Start the second season at the end of the first season.
    We want to see as much of Wash as we can, before his demise.

  14. Like many of you, I’ll take my Firefly any way I can get it. Putting it back on the air, even on the Sci-Fi channel or something would be best, ’cause it would lead to a larger audience, which would hopefully lead to a season 3! But even if it’s only on DVD, I’ll still buy it.
    [Having Firefly AND the new Battlestar Galactica would truly make TV worth watching again.]

  16. Heh! “I’ll be in my bunk.” You better wash you hands before typing again then. And, as we are aware, that was in an episode that Sarah K found mosy Un-shiny due to the hot girl-on-girl LACK of on-screen action.
    Man, we South Park Conservatives have a long way to go still until we’re fully in synch with the traditionals.
    Just Kidding Sarah K… you’re ovely, and armed to the teeth. I’ll need to buy a couple of more guns to feel safe enough to make a comment like that.

  18. I watched Firefly a few weeks ago on SciFi and fell in love. It was the episode with the wacko bounty hunter. I went to TiVo more episodes, but they never showed up.
    Does anyone watch SciFi anyway? Were they really hurting thier ratings by airing it?
    I guess what we really need is more Outer Limits. How stupid of me.
