The muckadoos are big on complaining about imagined voting problems, so why can’t we join in on the fun?
If you encountered an irregularity while voting, report it in the comments here. And try and spice it up to make it sounds interesting.
E.g. “I went to vote, but, as I filled out my ballot, I spotted a ninja hanging from the ceiling above me with a prominently displayed ‘Vote Democrat’ sticker on him. It was quite intimidating. And then a monkey bit me. I hope there will be a recount.”
UPDATE:
Heh. Laura Ingraham made Kos mad.

I don’t know if this qualifies, but here goes:
First, I went to the polling place, but it wasn’t very well marked (it was in a Middle School) and I and two other guys were wandering the halls until a janitor told us we had to go back outside (It was chilly and I think it might have been drizzling a little bit) and through another door.
Then, once I found the line, I had to both show a photo ID and tell them my address. (They had my address on the paper there. I think the old lady working the poll was coming on to me).
Finally, when I was leaving, there were two guys for the Democrat candidate (Webb) and the “No” on the Marriage Amendment and only one (1) guy for Allen and “Yes” on Marriage.
That was my experience.
Oh, and someone thought I was voting Democrat and threatened to punch my dumb, monkey face. When I told him I wasn’t, he punched those other two guys in their dumb, monkey faces.
When I got out to vote, I found out that my gas tank was almost empty!
I had to gas up! Then I saw some comics in a comic stand. So I read some comics for a while. Then I got thinking, “Hey, I haven’t been to the beach for a while.”
So I went out and got a nice picnic basket and lunch and blanket, and drove to the beach. The cool air was nice, and there wasn’t any crowd. I kept thinking to myself, “It feels like I forgot something…”
If the Democrats didn’t distract me from voting with an empty gas tank…!! It’s all a conspiracy!
Ha ha just kidding. I haven’t voted yet. I just got up. And I point the blame squarely on the Democracts!
I was on my way to vote but I saw a bumpersticker that read, “Republicans are big meanies!” and I felt too intimidated to vote. Also, there was a door on the polling place and I wasn’t sure if it was an “innie” or an “outie” so I just didn’t try. I mean, how foolish would I look if I pulled when I should have pushed? Don’t you think that doors are put up by democrats just to keep honest people from voting? I think it’s un-American.
My polling location is at a church. How could you vote for abortion on demand Democrat in the presence of God. I think the ACLU should sue God for intimidating voters and not allow churches to be polling places.

Yes…it happened twice!
I have permanent absentee status, which alleviates all sorts of problems here, mostly involving illiterate workers at the polling place (I have a very unusual surname, and it’s really difficult for those folks to find it in the register, even when I spell it). Anyway, because of this I voted at home, which caused all sorts of difficulties. My ballot included the opportunity to vote for Phil Angelides for governor. Phil’s platform consists largely of a pledge to raise my taxes a lot. The sight of his name sent me to the refrigerator for a cold Anchor Steam (the beer that holds the Bay Area hostage). After I drained that, I encountered the name of my Congressgal, Anna Eshoo, who recently stated that H-P’s problems regarding spying on board members and employees “represented a 360-degree change in the H-P way”. Can you imagine what the MSM would have made of a statement like that if the President had made it? That meant a trip to the liquor cabinet (actually, just the big cabinet in the kitchen) for a shot of Wild Turkey. Then I saw Cruz Bustamante’s name. Cruz is lieutenant governor. He wasn’t elected governor when we recalled Gray Davis, who was to the governorship what Jimmy Carter was to the Presidency. One reason that he wasn’t elected was that it was revealed that the Indian casinos owned him. I think that the San Jose Murky News actually printed a copy of the Deed of Trust transferring ownership to Cruz Bustamante. Cruz is running for insurance commissioner this time around. He accepted a $150,000 campaign contribution from the insurance industry. Now, I’m very pro-business, but this sent me back to the refrigerator for another Anchor Steam. It went on and on. Would I like to levy a $4 billion tax on crude oil produced in California? Would I like to approve billions and billions and billions of dollars in bonds so that I can pay more in taxes? By the time I was done connecting all the arrows (that’s how you vote here; we’re high-tech), I was talking to the bird on the bourbon bottle label, and it was talking back to me. I think that talking turkeys are highly irregular.
I think it’s pretty fishy that there were Democrats listed on my ballot. I thought that treason disqualified you from running for office.
I have a difficult-to-pronounce foreign surname. Every time I go to vote, I have to spell it out for the poll worker. Oppression of minorities, I say! All poll workers should be able to spell all foreign sounding names!
Also, since I am a Republican, I have a duty to reproduce as much as possible, because I like to make love AND war. So I have to go vote with my preschool kids in tow. Yet there are no toys or child care at the polling place. Oppression!
I voted (straight Democrat), and wrote in “Bush Must DIE!!!” on all Republicans running unopposed. I turned in my ballot and Bushy McChimpyburton did not burst into flames. Which can only mean one thing, my vote wasn’t counted.
I have moved and today was my first time voting in Ralph Regula’s district.
The polling place was in the back of some nursing care facility. Hard to locate? I can find a G-spot easier! (But less often than every 4 years).
A paint-by-number Last Supper adorned the stark wall above the voting machines. As a Jew (See Canadian Free Press link above), I found it intimidating to see the scolding face of Jesu Xristos looking down on me. This was clearly an underhanded tactic of those mean Republicans whose Cheney/Foley machine wants me to vote against Ohio’s minimum wage increase, and against the smoking ban… or FOR the smoking ban… I mean, FOR the amendment that’s AGAINST smoking… or the ban… Oh, jeez, See what I MEAN?! They got me confused with their ersatz-DaVinci and his pastey, fat Florentine rendering of a Hebrew carpenter! Can I have another ballot? I think I messed this one up.
The polls opened at 6 in Indiana. Jeez, it was dark outside and I had trouble seeing in the rain and fog to find the polling place, which was in a church on a really curvy road out in the country. Did I mention it was dark? I was secretly happy that Jesus was there on the wall reminding me what I should be voting for. You should be too.
Can someone make a donation to this church to buy a streetlight? My foot is finally drying out from the puddle I found by the car when I got out.
And hey, Gunga got to vote twice. Sheesh, I wanna do that. I’ve always said to vote early, vote often!
When I drove up to the polling place, a bunch of Democrats tried to intimidate me by attempting stop me from driving my car into the polling area, which I did. After voting, I encountered but quickly put down further intimidation by driving in reverse over those that had arrived after I’d entered. I bet if I call 1888DEMVOTE they won’t even take my complaint!
The power in my building went out at 6:00 this morning, causing me to oversleep because my alarm didn’t go off. Any other day this would have just been another power outage. But given that it is election day, I have to question the timing of this incident. I think it’s another example of voter suppression.
Outside my polling place, there were campaign signs everywhere saying “Vote Aqui”, and when I checked the ballot, Aqui was nowhere to be found.
I think Karl Rove fears this Aqui guy so much, he had his name removed from the ballot.
How did Laura annoy the Kossacks?
I refuse to go to Kos’s site.
I posted this earlier on a different page, but here it is again:
//Voting irregularity already in ABQ. In a primarily conserverative voting district here, there were only 150 available paper ballots (they decided against electronic voting this time).
Incidentally in a district of 2000 registered voters, mostly Republican.
Hmm…
But instead of finding a solution to the problem, they were actually turning people away & said they would “call them later when more ballots arrived”.
Yeah, right. In a city, county & state that is overrun with liberal Democrats in office, I’m sure they’ll get right on that.
Nothing says Liberal like denying people the right to vote.//
As it turns out, it was a problem in several voting districts here, and no one was offering provisional ballots as required BY LAW. Oddly enough, it didn’t seeem to be an issue in any democratic majority districts. The reason given by the NM Sec of State’s office as to why so few ballots were delivered initially was that it was a decision based on early voting estimates. In other words, all us conserverative apparantly voted early, so it’s ok to reduce the ballots delivered by 90%, but only in conserverative districts.
Ah, life in North Mexico.
I’m not a registered Democrat or a (recognized) minority or poor, but I’ve seen my share of voting problems recently. First I tried to e-register, but never got a physical reply, and thus missed the primary election. Then, aware I might be moving soon, I tried to register with a separate home and mailing address. But all I got at the mailing address was the registration card. I called to see what was up and changed my address to the one I have now. I asked California for my voting material and the county for my polling place in case the latter didn’t get my material to me in time. They did, but California didn’t (and I’ve never been able to find the official voting material in libraries, just the less-than-ideal “Easy Voter” guides). The county’s guide included instructions for electronic voting, which I dutifully read. I then walked into my polling place and saw the utter lack of electronic (or even mechanical) equipment, instead seeing just ballots with all-too-large boxes that had to be completely filled in with a ball-point pen. Thank goodness we don’t have instant-runoff voting! Anyway, I was informed that their records had me as a “permanent absentee,” something I’d neither asked for nor been told about. My (now-provisional) ballot needed accompanying documentation, although the poll worker wasn’t sure whether I should or should not include my last address with this information or if that would just confuse those trying to count my vote. Will my vote count? I don’t know, but at least I don’t have to feel bad about it not being, this being a thoroughly gerrymandered district. And, unlike others here, at least I got my provisional ballot.
The evil VRWC already hacked the machines in Pennsylvania to switch the vote for one office for the other! Watch Out your state isn’t next!
