First?
I’m not sure I understand the problem with the question marks? Question marks can be fun, too, ya know?
You are a anti-questionite? You should seek intervention? Bacon®!
Did you consider using the question mark exclamation point tandem!? It adds a layer of bewilderment.
I prefer a well placed semicolon myself; it’s on the home row for a reason.

Myself, I prefer long rambling verbose sentences with totally inappropriate punctuation. That and flipping back and forth between first, second, and third person in a totally annoying and disruptive manor. Not to mention the food particles and other debris littering my laptop and workspace.
By the way, would you suggest any special punctuation for rhetorical questions?
