Ron Paul is awesome; I can’t get enough Ron Paul.
I should mention that John Hawkins recently had a column, The Conservative Case Against Ron Paul, which was great. Here are the e-mails he had from Ron Paul’s supporters trying to convince him of his folly.
What’s a good name for Ron Paul supporters? Ronulans? Pauloons?

Spelling-deficient?
“Arpees” (RP’s)
Ron Paul=Republican Poser=RP=Arpee
PAULTROONS
Constitutionalists or Jeffersonians.
Must be my bad memory, but I distinctly recall that Jefferson was the one who ordered the destruction (you might even call it pre-emptive) of the barbary pirates
Idiots? Delusional? Homosexuals?
Regular Americans with a different political opinion than yourself.
people who think psychosis constitutes a political opinion
Demonize the people you disagree with. Good luck with that.
What’s the difference between a paulian (aka libertoonian) and a doorknob? A doorknob isn’t afraid of “black helicopters”.
@ holly, you do realize this is a political humor site, don’t you?
“Paul-luters” (polluters)
“Paul-bearers”
“Horsemen of the A-Paul-calypse”
“A-Paul-ling”
@luminos: Sorry, I missed that part. The sad thing is how easily I mistook it. Thanks for pointing that out.
I posted this one today.
Ronpaulyannas.

Still can’t figure out their politics. Are they deep left field, or deep right field? Are they even in the game? That guy might have six beers, but, he’s missing the plastic thingy that holds them together.
I just posted a counter case for Hawkins in my blog, read it if you like.
Regular Americans with a different political opinion than yourself.
Those would be the Giuliani and Romney supporters. They’re not full of crazy, and most of them have a sense of humour.
Ah, you almost had me fooled, but I remember the real Josh saying he wasn’t coming back, so obviously you’re an imposter who is just pretending that there is a blog entry.
Someone on the previous Ron Paul post called us brownshirts, so how about calling them browntrousers.
Kind of like Nazis, but not.
I second the browntrouser idea
I found out the hard way that even posting a innocuous attempt at being funny on the subject of Ron Paul can attract some pretty vicious hate comments.
A combination of previously stated ideas:
moRONic PAULtroons
Or we could go with the big business variation of RINOs:
RONcos
Foolssss how dare you mock the massster!!! I piss on myssself when I sssee your ignorant commentsss about the massster.Come Josssh the massster hasss need of us in hisss “torture chamber”.

“It does not take a majority to prevail … but rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men.”

Stop using my name in vain, Paul-bot.
Samuel Adams endorses Fred Thompson for President in 2008!
“The liberties of our country, the freedom of our civil constitution, are worth defending against all hazards: And it is our duty to defend them against all attacks from Ron Paul.”
Ron Paulyps?
– a paulitical projecting mass of swollen and hypertrophied or tumorous membrane?
We could call them Paulslims.
Based on the way his fanatical followers become outraged anytime somebody insults their holy prophet, Ron Paul (peace be upon him).
Ensign: Captain, we’ve managed to tap into their internal cameras.
Kirk: Put it on screen.
A gasp from the crew. Vulcan like beings are shown.
Spock: This is most distressing.
Ensign: Why, if our enemy the Paululans are of Vulcan descent, are they not logical?
Spock: No, for they must be an ofshoot that rejected the teachings of Surak. Logic and reason are as foreign to them as pacifism is to Klingons. They are gripped wholy by emotion, and as such are controlled only by their delusions. I suggest a all out attack at once.
Kirk: I concur. Uhura, put me through to Fred Thompson!
Paul-mists
After their girlfriends.
Judging by all the responses, there is only one thing to call them: Unhinged.
You can call me a Ron Paulyanna, though my opyimism may not be that irrepressible.
