I got meet Jonah Goldberg last night. He finally won, too. After months of false promises of sending me a copy of his book, I finally bought one so he could sign it. Anyway, instead of being serious and somber like you’d think, Jonah is quite funny in person. Also the debate between him and Peter Beinart was certainly much more edifying than the shouting heads stuff you get on shows like Hannity & Colmes. What I completely forgot about, though, was my brother’s connection between Jonah and BSU. Anyway, SarahK should have a post up all about as she’s better at writing about stuff that actually happened.
And while I’m on the subject, go Broncos!

You two have only been in Boise for like what 2 years and its already rubbing off on you. Questions:
1) I know you guys had guns, but now do you own twice as many before?
2) Does the only Democrat you know actualy own more guns than you?
3) Have you read Atlas Shrugged?
4) Do you put ranch dressing on everything?
5) Do you constantly complain about how teams that have lost 2 games can still be rated higher then the local University team. (Damn Communist at ESPN)
6) Have you noticed that you no longer use the “G” sound at the end of words. (I.E You speak perfect english except for the words “Going and “Doing” are now pronounced “Goin and Doin”.)
And for the other IMAO readers (especialy Liberal trolls) that have never been to Boise but are thinking of moving here. I warn you it’s a terrible place to live! So don’t move here. Companies have steddly been laying people off. Poor schools, Poor roads, High gas, I’m not even going to tell you what the bears do in the woods in Idaho. So just stay where you are. No need to come here from your other states and get involved with politics here.

I may not have got to meet you guys but I can still boast about sitting in the same room with two out of three of the coolest bloggers (Rachel Lucas being the third, of course). 😀
