I’m Sleepy

McCain is delivering his concession speech and we can ponder what all this means tomorrow. A Democrat was going to win the presidency again, so let’s not act like this was the end of the world. In this climate, a lot of people were going to vote for the Democrat even if they think he was going to be worse just to punish the Republicans. Now it’s time for Barack Obama to show he’s more than an pretty, shiny thing people wanted despite not knowing what it was.

And it’s time to start the Republican Underground. WOLVERINES!!!

  1. Okay, I’ll give you that.

What do I want for Christmas now? HOW ABOUT AN HONEST TO G*D CONSERVATIVE CANDIDATE??????

Is that really asking too much? I am so sick and tired of the “it’s his turn” rationale for choosing the GOP candidate. Bob Dole? Please. John McCain? God bless him for his service to this country, but all that should earn him is the eternal gratitude of a grateful nation, and the honor of a burial in Arlington when he shrugs off this mortal coil.

Let’s take our party back and get a candidate who will talk like, vote like, act like and lead like a CONSERVATIVE.

    Any takers? Suggestions?

  2. It is ineed time for a Restorationist movement. We need to start with ourselves – doing just a little bit more to be better, more moral, harder working individuals. We strengthen our families. We make our organizations better. We dedicate ourselves to service and fellowship in our churches. We study the constitution and the founding fathers. We learn and understand more and more of what is TRUE and RIGHT and we dedicate ourselves to being able to explain and demonstrate it to the lost and confused. We expose the LIES and the LIARS.

With the help of the Almighty, we shall overcome.

  3. Now that it’s been proven on the world stage once and for all that RINO = failure, this will serve as the launching point of the rebirth of conservatism. A few short months of the Obama, Pelosi, Reid government will be our greatest recruitment tool. Let’s take back the house in 2010 and elect President Palin in 2012.

  4. I would love to see the reactions on liberals faces as the congratulations come in from all the countries that wish we were dead.

That said, we have serious reasons to be worried right the hell now…

I wouldn’t be at all surprised to see a missile attack by Iran on Israel and possibly our troops in Iraq in the next week or two. Iran has already said it may launch one to prevent Israel from attacking their reactor, and that they think Israel may do so before Bush leaves office.

Biden’s “test” of us would probably come from Russia or China. China tested Bush before 9/11, and Russia tests us all the time on a good day now. Arabs may screw with our gas prices again, because they know democrats are about cursing darkness rather than lighting candles. Biden saying that, BTW, probably made it far more likely to happen.

I’ve often said that the best evidence that there is a God is the evidence that there’s a devil, and the best evidence that there’s a devil is that athiest liberals are so quick to embrace muslims who destroy their rights and attack Christians who defend them. Jesus originally said “A house divided against itself cannot stand” when he was accused of driving out demons in the power of demons – in other words, hell won’t work against itself. When two hellish leaders fight, it seems to be a race to see who can kill the most of their own citizenry before the war is over. Stalin/Hitler and Iran/Iraq are good examples.

At any rate, the obamination that causes desolation, his paranoid wife, and bizzaro-world party leadership have just been given the lease. I remember after Clinton was reelected being at a Christian music concert where the sorrow was palpable. The lead singer (I have no idea what band) commented on this and then turned to say “God is still on the throne”. Ultimately, that’s the theme of any future we have.

At any rate, I’ll be checking my extensive movie collection for a copy of Red Dawn, and if it isn’t there now it will be by week end.

Goodnight, God bless, and God save His own.

  5. The Lynx is coming…

    Apple Pie!

Oh, and my commemorative O-hole purchase was a DPMS Panther LR-308-AP. (A lucky find, given that DPMS was – last week – projecting an unprecedented 35-week lead time on new orders.) Wish I could afford to buy everything on my “soon to be banned” wish list…

  6. I don’t know…I live in Cleveland and have to go in to work tomorrow. These monkey faced Communists are going to mob me…what do I do? They know how I vote….I don’t have ninja abilities so how do I fight off the Commies????

  7. Well, being the young man I am. I have never been under a social.. I mean Democrat President since I have gained political perspective. This sucks… Time to buy ammo and assault rifles while I can.

  8. GI Jim,

I still haven’t had enough beer to make the sick feeling in my stomach go away, so please allow me to put my 2 cents’ worth in on your open question. I am a Marine (Semper Fi), so I know a thing or two, I think. Of course I’m sure someone will disagree with me.

You have to ask yourself a series of questions to pick the right firearm.
    1. What do you want it for?
    a. Home defense? Get a good pump shotgun. I prefer 12-gauge, but 20 will do fine, especially with some good ol’ fashioned 00 buck shot. Generally the civilian defense force (a.k.a. Black Panther) people run at the sound of the pump being operated.
    b. Defending yourself on the move? Get a good concealable pistol. A good cheap one is the Bersa compact .380 caliber. Not too flashy, but very effective and lightweight and dependable. Easy to field strip, too.
    c. WOLVERINES!!!! Although much-maligned, the AR-15 or the civilian version of the M4 carbine is my favorite for a number of reasons. The ammo isn’t terribly expensive (yet), and since our attackers are likely to be from our own government, the ammo (.223 caliber or 5.56mm) should be easier to find lying around than stuff for the AK-47 (still the only good thing Russia has done in recent memory).
    d. All-purpose? A Mauser bolt action rifle is just darn cool, imo.
    2. WHO do you want it for?
    a. Yourself? Refer to a-d above.
    b. Others, too? Take their gun experience into account. I’d say the shotgun. Pretty much anybody can hit pretty much anything at relatively close range with a scattergun.
    3. How much money do you wanna spend?
    a. I’m rich – until Obamanation robs me blind? Get ’em all. You can never have too much firepower. While your at it, you should have at least 100 rounds for all of them at all times.
    b. I’m in the newly-created middle class? Shotgun again. Go to a pawn shop, I say.
    c. I’ll be getting a “tax rebate check” from the rich capitalist swine in March 2009? Just stick to the traditional weapons of the dependent classes – knives, razor blades, intimidation, unintelligible threats, and, of course, everyone’s favorite, the vote.

Have a great night. See you underground.

  9. Hey StevioAtilla
The conservative (not Republican) ship is without a rudder or a captain. I am not preaching to the choir as I know that you are fully aware. The helm is wide open. Palin could function like a modern Deborah from the bible, and if there are no men to stand up why not?

Listening to McCains consession speach and the platitudes he showered BO with for his and Bidens love of their country made me think he just flew in from another planet. We have to remember that the media picked him for us.

The conservative base has to realize that these marxist’s are not just our ideological enemies but our mortal ones as well.

I’m asking because I really want to know, is it absolutely essential to have a national leader? What if individuals took it upon themselves to be active in your local communities? Become a pain in the ass to your local marxist leadership, the greens, the wackos or whoever happens to be a 60’s leftover and holds a position, city, county or state.

If a person sticks their neck on the line and submits an argument of common sense persuasion and principled values they will attract a following. We need to look at this as door to door fighting. It is a war, at least of values. Win enough neiborhoods and you win the city. Win enough cities and you win a state.

I do not see a national leader anywhere on the horizon. It looks like it would be suicidal if there was one. The machine and whoever is running it has a checkmate, but guerilla warfare is where every movement starts at sometime. It will have to start with the individual. In time there are two, then three, then?? Websites like IMAO could serve as organizational support, until they came and took Frank away. So, if I’m full of sheite then tell me. I’m just asking a question because it seems reasonable.

On the other hand GI Jim, consider the fairly new Taurus 1911. It has great reviews and was intentionally built with specs of pistols that would cost 4 times as much.

  10. What. A Nightmare. I am stunned. I have (in case some have not gleaned from my frequent posts) two sons who are on the cutting edge of American exceptionalism, mechanical engineering and Army Airborne Ranger, and suddenly I am more uncertain of their futures than I ever have been, thanks to an American populace that sees fit to cater to their own selfish needs than that of the republic of America.

  11. For #3:

    Sarah Palin
    Michael Steele
    Bobby Jindal

That’s just off the top of my head. I love Fred!, but four years from now he’s gonna be four years more tired than this time. I don’t think he could do it. We need our younger conservative offspring to take the lead now. And we must be there to back them up.

  12. Ugh #27…

Palin was probably harmed by the campaign.
Steele’s idea of reinventing the Republican Party is to make it the new British Tories… Ron Paul’s foreign policy and Bloomberg’s nanny statism
Jindal is the Republican’s version of the Messiah. Let’s just say that if his name was Bobby Smith, nobody would give a hoot.

  13. Sad to say the real conservatives are not even in politics. I can’t seem to find a single politician with the sack to speak the truth I hear daily on Rush, Hannity, and Levin. Well, used to hear daily, before the “fairness doctrine” takes away the last vestige of conservative free speech.

We are sliding into the left leaning fialed ideas prevalent in the rest of the world

  14. As much as I’m tempted to sleep through the next four years, I’m secretly excited about donning a ninja costume, running through The Loop with my AK-47, shouting “Wolverines!!!” and inspiring the toodle-heads with my New Republican Underground Logic.

You all are gonna bail me out, aren’t you? Aren’t you?
