Victims

Now that Obama has been elected, racism is officially over — which is nice. Here are some interesting poll results, though. It says 29% of blacks didn’t think a black president would be elected in their life time (compared to 59% of whites). I always thought — and I’d say correctly — that a black president could have been elected for years if we just had a good candidate (or, apparently, a mediocre candidate in favorable conditions). If most blacks saw things differently, that means they’ve been going under the assumption that racism is worse than it is which explains a lot. Hopefully that will change now as Republicans don’t do well with people in a victim mentality. That’s not to say conservatives don’t fall for a victim mentality — such as worrying too much about the unfair liberal media — but it never helps us when we do. If someone is victimizing you, the proper conservative response is not to whine about it. It’s to either kick their ass or ignore them. Something to keep in mind for the trials ahead.

  1. Marko, clearly you misunderstand the program. Vicimization is so important that everyone from The One to the guy who pets the kids’ dog for him will be in charge of it.

Remember, we’ve had 400 years of racism, so it can’t be cured in just 4.

And at this time, we have a special need. So whether you can send a gift of $5, $25, or have been given so much that you can give back $2300, we could really use your support now.

  2. Unfortunately, racism abounds.

    I’m living proof of that.

You see, I did not vote for Barckobama (yes, it’s one word), therefore I am obviously a rabid White Supremacist who is bitterly clinging to guns & God. I’m also psychologically unstable due to my conservative leanings, according to that famous- and totally objective- study done by the clearly more enlightened folks at UC-Berkely. Seriously, when has a social scientist ever been mistaken or biased? Probably never, so it’s best that I just accept whatever they say.

I admit all this now because I’m all hopey for change & stuff that can only be brought about by Barackobama & his positive message of…whatever it is. Hopefully, a psychologist will explain it to me in small words someday.

  3. “It’s to either kick their ass or ignore them. Something to keep in mind for the trials ahead.”

By “trials,” do you mean things like:

    * Being prosecuted for refusing to sign-up for mandatory, national health care?

    * Being prosecuted for running low-power, underground FM radio stations that don’t adhere to the coming “New Fairness Doctrine?”

    * Being prosecuted (or ruined, a la Joe Plumber) for criticizing a black president?

    * Being prosecuted for refusing to obey the “lawful orders” of the coming Civilian National Defense Force?

    * Being prosecuted for refusing to pay taxes?

or do you mean trials, as in:

    * Coping with unemployment?

    * Watching your 401k or IRA get converted to taxable interest income by the Democrat Congress?

    * Fighting and losing battle after battle to nationalize almost every aspect of American life: banks, credit card companies, insurance companies, the auto industry, the oil and coal industries, medicine, etc.?

    * Dealing with food shortages?

    * Witnessing racial violence in America’s cities?

    * Watching the Federal Government go bankrupt.

(Oh, I’m in denial too. Our government is already bankrupt.)

  4. Well, Tink, it’s best to not be in denial. This situation is a bit like a bottomless pit with a black hole in the center (pun intended). The trick most of us will face is to “position ourselves” not to get sucked in and wiped out:

“Morally, spiritually, financially, logically, ad infinitum, ad nauseum.”

as the Great Elephant in the Desert points out.

  5. You know what’s over? Your lame website. You’ve been at this what for like ten years and you still have only about 20,000 pageviews a month? You suck at blogging dood. Time to get a real job.

[Um… are you sure you’re posting to the right post on the right blog? Also, this is actually somewhere between a job and a hobby for me — a jobby. -Ed.]

  6. Of course, a person with a victim mentality has generally not victimized (like somebody, say, robbed at gunpoint), but then through operation of the left wing Victimizer 2000 ™ [“It slices! It dices! It makes you blame the white man for your problems”], they are convinced they are a victim — which, in a funny twist, then makes them a victim – which they were not – before they thought they were!

The whole things then ends with massive transfers of wealth from people who, of course, are the actual victims, because their money is being taken from them, to give to people who don’t deserve it (but think that they do).

50% of the country does not get this. Which drives me to the point of insanity which, if it pushed me past that point, so defined, would make me a victim – and thus entitled to some of that sweet, sweet victim money, which would be great until everyone becomes a victim and there is no more money left to go around.

At that point in time, I would sit on my porch like St. Augustine at the walls of Hippo watching the Vandals, whilst I drink budlight, listen to the Ramones, and wait for Rome for to fall.

  7. The really funny thing is that you’re right. All of the arguments about the system being stacked against minorities (read Black) have been taken away by the ascension of the “Golden Child”.

Now all of the folks that have screamed that the system is stacked against them, that others are responsible for their plights, and that you (read Whitey) are too stupid to realize that you are responsible for global warming, fuel shortages, oppression etc. etc. etc. are about to get what they wished for.

Presumably all of the injustices will be corrected in short order by the “Golden Child”.

What’s going to be interesting is to watch who the left blames when they realize that their beloved Party de Democratzi along with the Fuhrer (aka Golden Child) are incapable of changing their world, when they are not willing to do it for themselves.

The best form of change is the kind we Conservatives have advocated all along, the kind YOU get up off of YOUR ASS and make a change for yourself.

They will never realize that there are only two sides to any situation: Either you’re part of the problem, or part of the solution.

That means those who wait for Obama to bring them hope and change will be sorely disappointed. He can’t do for them what they won’t do for themselves. No matter what the Democratzis wants you to believe.

So grab the popcorn, lawnchair, and shotgun… this is about to get interesting!

  8. The racism crap just irritates me to no end. It’s like they WANT us to be racist… and it’s really not nearly as bad and the left acts like it is. I voted for McCain/Palin. Obama just creeps me out for many reasons that most everyone already knows about, so no reason to repeat them here. I really don’t have a problem with a black president. I would have preferred that a black man be elected in spite of his race. Not because of it. That’s what’s really racist and it makes me sad.
