According to my peers, IMAO is funnier than Scrappleface and Ace but less funny than Iowahawk. Sounds about right. Interestingly, the most annoying left-of-center bloggers list is topped by those “new” to the left.
And why is everyone always hating on Allahpundit?
Frank, anyone who believes there is a website out there that is funny than yours probably still believes that the Earth is flat, dinosaurs with lasers attached are NOT cool, and that global warming is REAL!

If you’d pay Harvey and Basil more, Frank, you could probably give Iowahawk a run for his beer money. We realize you can’t pay Sarah K. more because she’s already maxed out on her neon orange powdered cheese.
Where the heck ARE those guys, lately? Harvey’s “Lightning Round” dropped off the radar. And Basil seems busy with football, or something. Spacemonkey must be in some kind of highly elliptical orbit with a period of several years. Ducky is petting his cats every day and Cadet Happy… God only knows where he went (or maybe Allahpundit).
Jimmy, I was scrolling through the old IMAO archives when I found what I believe to be Cadet Happy’s last post (posted two months after the shift to WordPress).
I attempted to mock him (or her? or it?) for driving a minivan, but the comments are closed.
Marko, I recall some very disturbing posts from Cadet Happy that gave me nightmares (and I said so at the time) but your link to Cadet’s last post cracked me up. Maybe I was too hasty.

If you combine the funny of your PJM columns with the funny in IMAO, you’re probably ahead of Iowahawk. But it seems some of the humor that we’re used to seeing here is being siphoned off into your other writings. Not a slam or insult, just an observation.
As for Allahpundit, he’s a big-tent pragmatist, but most readers of righty blogs are “burn the RINO heretic!” types who don’t want to compromise any more.

allahpundit is wicked funny, but lost my vote after ditching on redsugar — a man has got to answer the door when opportunity knocks.
Was Charles Johnson as shrill pointless when he was on the right? I can’t remember. The fact he is still carrying on about a pointless grudge with Hot Air shows the emotional level of a 7th grade girl. Dude, move on.
I don’t get the Allahpundit hatred either. But I don’t understand why he posted those “Why You’re Fat” pictures either.
After years of roaming the blogododecahedron, IMAO, Ace and Iowahawk are the ones I have never stopped visiting, even though they were among the first I discovered. The Holy Trinity of Hip, Funny and Cool.
Ace, IMAO, HA, and IOTW are my favorites…IOTW the best new addition this year what with Snark & Boobs and all. Iowahawk is killer but there’s no comments. Being a motorhead he prolly just doesn’t have the inclination to deal with everybodys’ stupid blather (like this). Rush mentions Light & Sweetness a lot, they’re a good source of info but their posts are so friggin dry, like reading EULAs. There’s no f*** this or s*** that. I mean, what’s the point?

Why is everyone hating on Allahpundit? He keeps trying to convince conservatives to compromise on what they feel is important so the squishy republicans (like Olympia Snowjob) won’t feel threatened. Screw that! And yeah, I get tired of his Christian-bashing and pro-choice blather, too. Thank God for Ed Morrisey, or I’d have given up on HA a long time ago.
