Feel like I should update you all. Still at the hospital with SarahK and little Buttercup, but hopefully should be home tomorrow (there is a BSU game that night). Anyway, I’ll try to get up some more pictures later and post when I have time.
If you couldn’t care less about babies (why are you so heartless? Oh yeah, this is a conservative site) and just want political stuff, check out The Real Bob Etheridge site which I did some work on. You all know Etheridge; he likes to manhandle his constituents who ask him questions. And running against him is Renee Ellmers who is nice and won’t vote with Pelosi 97% of the time.
Hmm. First blog post I ever wrote while holding a baby in one arm (SarahK is sleeping). How’d I do?

just tweeted to momma that she looks a touch on the tired side in that pic for some reason or other. Can’t imagine why. . .
Conga rats to y’all.
She’s beautiful. You are about to embark on the adventure of a lifetime. Good luck!
I just want to tell you both good luck.
Weโre all counting on you.

As long as you let Mama and Buttercup sleep while you post ,
you done fine. Congratulations, Frank and Sarah!
That is one cute baby. Wow.
SarahK gets to sleep? Lucky duck. How in love are you guys? Seriously, that is one gorgeous baby.
Duuuude. That is so awesome!!11!1! But how long until she can make a sammich?
Beautiful baby. Beautiful mom. Blessed dad. Congratulations!
You did a fine job posting holding a baby. You should do more of it.
It’s hard to type with one hand, but you will get better with practice.
So sweet! ๐ Buttercup already looks like she’s smiling. Adorable little cuddle bug . . .
Congrats to you both! Couldn’t happen to better people! ๐
October 8, 1918
Sgt. York Triumphant
On this day in 1918, 7 U.S. soldiers in France are surrounded by German soldiers. Sgt. Alvin York, assuming command after his commanding officer is killed, shoots 28 Germans and captures 132 more. York became one of the most decorated soldiers of World War I.

Another great day in history!
Awwww. Cute baby girl!
She’s beautiful. Congratulations to you both
Oooh! What a cutie sweetie face! Congrats guys!
I’m anticipating many more late night blog posts being written while taking care of the baby.
And that really is a great picture. How on earth did you manage to get a picture of Buttercup with her eyes open and half smiling at one day old?
DOB is Oct. 7, correct? She’s in some interesting company!

Gotta say, your baby blogging is better than your drunk blogging.
Insofar as you only posted this entry once.
Give the missus a hug for me & congratulations to you both.
BTW, are you giving out cigars, or should I send one to you?
Congrats Frank & Sarah! A thread like this is soothing to the soul. Before I read it, I was in a crappy mood, and now I’m grinning like an idiot. Thank you for sharing your joy with us.
All hail Princess Buttercup!
Man, Sarah looks wonderful! The baby is so beautiful! Many prayers coming your way.
Holy crap Frank, you have a baby!
Cool!
Cutest baby ever but I see sarcasm in those young eyes! Gee, I wonder where she got that?
I think the baby is thinking (not in English yet but in baby talk) “hi mommy, you are so sweet and lovely, and by the way who is the douche bag with the camera? Is he teh gay? He sure acts like it! I can’t wait to grow up so I can punch him in the face!
Hey, I’m conservative and I *like* babies! They’re really delicious. Here are my favorite recipes for babies.
She looks very buttery and tasty. You and SarahK done good!
Frank. Frank! Frank!! FRAAAAAANK!!!
Whu?
Doodies!
All of a sudden youth just got a whole bunch younger, didn’t it.
Dinosaurs with mounted rockets and lasers became a baby with diapers. (Just as potent.)
Sarah, even though you look totally exhausted in that pic your tenacity still shines through.
You look like you want to punch Frank in the face. Heh.
But lil Buttercups looks like a kid on Christmas morning.
God bless all three of you.
“Ya done good!”
Pray all is well with Buttercup and her family.

Congrats Frank, and coincidentially MSN had a bunch of inappropriate baby gifts. This one wins the prize

I know I’m a little late on this, but things have been rough around here…
Congratulations Frank and SarahK! PB is beautiful and you both should be very proud. Thanks for sharing the pics. Pictures of babies always make my day a little brighter. It’s as if the mere reminder of the promise new life holds has the power to wipe away just a little of the bad stuff every time I look at them.
Let the conservative indoctrination begin!!! ๐
Congratulations Sarah & Frank!
She looks just like her Mommy.
Lucky, lucky Buttercup.
She is one cute bebbe. When will the little Princess Buttercup receive her little princess crown? Congratulations and joy to your wee little family.
Is it one of them caesar section babies? She sure has a pretty round little head.
She’s BEAUTIFUL! You’re in for a lifetime of surprises, blessings, and heartaches, and it’s SO worth it! Congratulations to all three of you!
Absolutely adorable! Looks like “twu wuv”….
Enjoy every minute!
Haven’t seen any arrived home updates, so Frank or anyone else should be able to watch (on the sly) the Boise State game on ESPN3.com.
Why is your kid in a burkha?
MASSIVE Congratulations to Sarah K on a beautiful baby!!
Oh, yeah, and way to start things off there, Frank…:D
A big heart-felt HOOAH! to the entire family!

For Baby Buttercup:
An Irish Baby Blessing
May God grant you always
A sunbeam to warm you
A moonbeam to charm you
A sheltering angel so nothing can harm you.
I’m heading down to Tipsy McStaggers to buy a round for the whole gang in honor of peanut baby Buttercup. Which means I won’t be able to drive to the hospital with the nice nightgown with matching housecoat & slippers until tomorrow morning (late). Don’t leave the hospital till I get there. Figure on about 20 hours from Philadelphia. (I made that up).
Why didn’t you call, you knew I had the suitcase packed. Was it just because I didn’t give you any contact info?
Don’t worry, I’m not mad, I’ll still be Godmother. Since I’ve been unemployed due to Recovery Spring 2009, why don’t we figure on me staying right on through till the Christening? See you soon, can’t wait!
Wow! She is cute. Most newborns, not so much. Good job. Congrats!
Congrats Frank,
A very cute baby indeed!

How did you do? You done good. On at least 3 counts.
Was gonna say something snide about spelling and grammar being better when you type 1 handed, but I’m still just jazzed about the newest member of the conservative blogosphere. Congrats, man!
