Should Democrats Change Things Up?

Some people are wondering if whether after this recent shellacking the Democrats should still be led by the same old people who are weird smell funny. But then who are the younger Democrats? The Kos kids? That’s just a bunch of young people who are weird and smell funny.

Maybe Democrats should talk to their friends in Hollywood and see if they can come up with some version of a Democrat that isn’t repulsive to normal people. Maybe using CGI. Of course, a lot of problem with CGI people is the “uncanny valley” where a person will look just short of normal and thus seem vaguely unsettling — so it is a pretty good Democrat simulator. Still, I think a completely fictional Democrat leader would go well with promoting all the invisible jobs they’ve saved and created.

There is still the problem of Democrat ideas, but I don’t think CGI can help that. In fact, it already reminds of CGI like from Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen — incomprehensible and headache inducing. So here is where Democrats should fall back on their secret weapon: Vagueness. Obama had the idea — “Yes We Can!” and all that. Just no specifics because your ideas creep people out as much as your weird old people.

So that’s the plan: CGI and vagueness. It’s like I’m pitching a big budget Lost movie.

  1. Welfare, food stamps, unemployment, social security, medicare, medicaid, federal education money, bailouts…

    All political narcotics for idiots.

Does it matter who they pick when half the country is on Democrat drugs?

  2. As a certified member of the Tea Party, I do not believe the Democrats should change anything at this time. How will we effect our programs such as re-establishing slavery, doing away with voting rights for women and Nuking Aran, Iraq, Syria, California, N. Korea, Oregon etc.? I say let them stay and watch us work…Muwahahahahahah!

  3. You know, if we limited voting to only people who pay taxes, I think there would be a lot fewer democrats elected.

If you don’t contribute to the country at all, why should you have a say in how it’s run?

  5. Frank’s plan would best work with that creepy animation TBN uses for it’s children’s programming. With everyone creeped out at rhe virtual democrats we would win for sure. Only fault I can see is that it would hard to face punch a virtual hippie.

  6. Of course the Democrats should be led by the same gang of idiots that led them to getting stomped in the mid terms. That way we can finish them off in 2012, silly!

I don’t think CGI would help them much. Look at Pelosi, fer Pete’s sake! Even if Spielberg, George Lucas and the guys who did the CGI for Lord of The Rings got together they still couldn’t make that thing look like anything but the BIG UGLY!

We all know that like the good cockroaches they are, even a nuking won’t kill the the Dems off. However, I still think it’s a good idea to nuke Democrats. You know, just for fun. It would be even better than nuking the Moon!

  7. Only like 10-20% of the population agrees with the left on any given issue. They still manage to control lots and lots of things. They dont need people who agree with them just people who depend on them. Most Hispanics oppose abortion and most blacks oppose secularism most union members are social conservatives.

If your on the right people who agree with you dont vote for you where for the left people who dont agree with them do vote for them. The right really really needs to start learning how to play politics. Even after possibly the worst managed two years by government/left in a 100 years the right couldn’t even get back to the majority they had in 2005.

I am just saying Americas right needs a smarter game plan.

-run far right conservatives revolutionaries in blue states but have them pretend to be liberals (you know invert what they have been doing for decades)

-take enough control of the media to start putting your talking points into sitcoms/late night talk shows etc… to reach people who dont know or care what the truth is but vote based on easily repeatable one liners.

That’s how the game is played in a everyone including felons and illegals vote level democracy.

  8. Go all the way with the CGI.
Sims Congress – all the members stay home in their districts and just send their avatars to on-line Congress for votes and stuff.
No travel expenses, no private perks like restaurants or gyms, they’d save a fortune!
The public could virtually watch their deliberations from the virtual visitors gallery whenever they wanted, and virtually punch any virtual hippies they find there too.

  9. 4of7 – We have no members of congress. They are all just CGI and all votes are determined by the American People on-line using like a Play Station III! There will also be a gun option for like a Maxine Waters, where she is speaking and get’s blasted. Her CGI character then must sit down and shut up for 3 days… Let’s roll!

  10. If you’ve got something that is working so spectacularly well, why change anything. I say keep the most ethical leader, Nancy, “We’ve gotta pass it to see what’s in it” Pelosi.

My greatest fear….well second greatest fear, is that this lady just goes away. You hear that, all you guys standing near her with buckets of water….don’t you dare.

Who else is going to get so many people to see so clearly what’s wrong with America. Who else could rally so many people with such invective. So more Nancy bell, more Nancy bell.

That and she’s clearly already using CGI how else do they get such realistic wicked-witch-of-the-west looks.

Although if they were willing to release Charles Manson and let him lead the Democrats then I might be willing to see her step down.

  11. #12 – ussjimmycarter,
The way bags full of uncounted votes seem to turn up whenever Dems are in a close race Now, I shudder to think of the vote tampering that would ensue with on-line, real-time voting.
However, the ‘gun option’ seems promising.
