Burt Prelutsky used to be a TV writer out in Hollywood.

Now he’s a cranky old guy who hates on liberals and the conservatives who don’t have the spine to stand up to them.

What’s not to love?

For example, his latest:

A FEW MORE REASONS TO SEND OBAMA PACKING

“I sometimes think that Republicans are genetically compelled to bring water pistols to a gun fight. While I acknowledge that it’s difficult to combat the bully pulpit the Left commands, thanks to a corrupt media, I really am sick and tired of hearing Mitch McConnell referring to “Our friends on the other side of the aisle.” Harry Reid is not your friend. Charles Schumer, Patrick Leahy and Dick Durbin, are not your friends. What’s more, Barbara Boxer, Patty Murray and Dianne Feinstein, are not going to the prom with you. Get over it.”

Obama Declares Mandatory Prayer Vigil for Obamacare

WASHINGTON (AP) – Last Wednesday, White House officials summoned dozens of leaders of nonprofit organizations that strongly back the health law to help them coordinate plans for a prayer vigil outside the court when justices hear arguments for three days beginning March 26.

Um… sure… you can recite Psalm 109:8

During a press conference today, White House Press Secretary Jay Carney clarified that praying that Obamacare be upheld is mandatory for all Americans.

“Just as forcing people to purchase free health insurance is either a tax or a fee or in the commerce clause or some kind of implied power doohickey,” said Carney, “the First Amendments clearly states that Americans have a right to ‘free exercise’ of religion. Since exercise is part of good health and – as the First Lady can tell you – a legitimate interest of the federal government, AND anything free is paid for and thus controlled by the federal government, there’s no reason that the President’s Health Care Reform law – which protects everyone’s health – can’t require you to pray for it.”

Asked by ABC’s Jake Tapper if vigil participants would be required to face any particular holy city during the event, Carney said he was “not at liberty to comment at this time.”

Presumptive GOP Presidential nominee Mitt Romney either agreed or not in his suave, important-haired fashion.

“As Governor of Massachusetts, I made many things mandatory, and prayer certainly may or may not have been one of them. While certainly or not a decision that is possibly proper on a state level, it’s not true that Obamacare would be based on what I might have done in Massachusetts which was completely different, if not similar, which I will repeal when I am elected, if, indeed, I oppose it, or not. Because I believe in an America where millions of Americans believe in an America that’s the America millions of Americans believe in. That’s the America I love.”

Nuke the News: The Movie Version of My Book

* As you’ve probably heard by now, the Obama administration purchased the rights to the movie version of Obama: The Greatest President in the History of Everything, and the movie will be coming out Thursday this week. Over at PJ Media, I wrote up my thoughts on this momentous occasion.

* More primaries tomorrow. I guess Southern states. I really don’t care; I just want this over. We all know our nominee is going to be Romney and we’re just delaying the inevitable. I don’t like any of the other choices enough to keep pretending, though. Can’t we just end this and focus on how bad Obama is. Please?

* Democrats have their new talking point: The GOP is doing a “War on Women”. And the sad thing is some people are dumb enough to think that’s a real thing. I for one just find it supremely dishonest with the left pretends to care about anything other than their own politics. Democrats care about women the same way they care about blacks — they’re groups they can get votes from. If you ever want to see great examples of misogyny or racism, see how the left reacts to women and minorities who disagree with them.

If the left really cared about women, they have lots of misogyny on their own side to police without ever having to worry about conservatives. Plus, their own side might actually listen to them. But they tolerated a Senator who left a woman to drown in a car. And enthusiastically supported a president who sexually harassed women and dismissed accusations of rape against him. And just look at how they treat Sarah Palin. So if a liberal says he cares about women, tell him, “You care about women the same way I care about your face.” Then punch him really hard in the face.

* Hey, remember Alan Grayson? The liberals would talk about the need for civility, and then support this moronic, dishonest blowhard. So, were you wondering what he’s been up to since he lost his reelection by a wide margin? He ran a red light and crashed into a bus while heading to a campaign rally. Apparently he was heading to one of those $1000 a plate “We care about the poor” dinners. I don’t know if I could eat dinner with Alan Grayson in attendance; he probably eats like the cookie monster.

People supported that guy and still vote to this day. It’s scary.

Random Thoughts

When Obama says he’s “leading by example” does that mean he’s admitting to being a complete failure as a leader?

You think the Obama documentary might be some Fringe tie in where they show how great he did in some alternate universe?

If they’re doing a film version of my book “Obama: The Greatest President in the History of Everything” shouldn’t I have gotten a check?

Parks & Recreation has LITERALLY the best opening sequence of any tv show.

So, the first black president was elected and, according to HBO, the most interesting part of that was Sarah Palin.

HBO should put Sarah Palin in other shows to spice them up. “Game Change of Thrones”

Could you imagine how bad things would be if Sarah Palin had gotten in power? Obviously not as bad as they are now, but pretty bad.

Is Romney our nominee yet?

So is Game Change part of this “War on Women” I’ve been hearing about?

I, for the life of me, can’t figure out why I’d watch a movie that isn’t at least 25% gun fights.

I get why some newspapers aren’t running Doonesbury for a few days, but why are they running them any other time?

The stupidest day of the year, Earth Day, is coming up on April 22nd.

Which means the stupidest hour of the year is also approaching: Earth Hour – 8:30 pm on March 31st

On the bright side, Stupid Hour will again, coincidentally, fall on the best and brightest day of the year: Alpha Proxima Day

Yes, that fantabulous day when lovers of advanced civilization will proclaim the miracles of human achievement by making planet Earth the brightliest shiniest thing in the local trinary star cluster.

Soylent Green is giving us a nice, early, heads-up on the event so you have plenty of time to prepare:

How The Kremlin Is Using Sex To Sell Putin

I’m kinda torn on whether I want American campaign commercials to head in this direction. On the one hand, it makes it a little more interesting when you’re stuck watching live TV because you’re watching the program you’re recording and the show catches up to “live” on your DVR.

On the other hand, there’s that really skanky feeling you’d get having to think of sex and Newt Gingrich at the same time.

Apparently the Marines Need a Better Slogan

Not a better motto, because they already have the awesomest around, but a better slogan for their recruitment ads, because this is a bunch of PC crap:

“Marines move toward the sounds of tyranny, injustice, and despair.”

No, they move towards the sounds of guns, grenades, and artillery, and make them very, very quiet.

This trite, generic ad copy would be equally at home on an Occupy Wall Street sign, and makes it sound like the Marines’ main job it to change the diapers of squalling infants.

This picture needs help, so I’m providing it:

__________

* You… Yes you, the dictator in the funny hat… kiss your ass goodbye.

* Marines: like a snuggly warm blanket of apocalyptic horsemen

* “Look to my coming on the first light of the fifth day. At dawn look to the east.”

* Seriously, don’t piss us off.

* Opening up a can of Article I, Section 8, enumerated power 11

* Say your prayers, you flea-bitten varmint!

* Bazinga!

* Democracy. Whiskey. And sexy.

* “A day may come when the courage of men fails, when we forsake our friends and break all bonds of fellowship, but it is not this day.”

* Because we can beat you hopping on one leg

* We crossed your “Line of Death.” And we brought it with us.

* If you’re out of white flags, we’ll accept yellow. Just wave the front of your pants.

Your turn. Step up in the comments, please…

Nuke the News: The Left and Pretend Outrage

* I think I’ve realized one of the great things about Andrew Breitbart was how much he scared the left. They’d act all dismissive of him, but freak out whenever he did anything and try to figure out what his trap was so they could prevent it before hand. It’s like how the White House immediately fired Shirley Sherrod when he released that one video. “Take that, Breitbart! Now you’re attacking someone who doesn’t even work for us anymore!” Of course, they ended up falling into it by doing that. And now some new videos of Obama’s college years are coming out and the left are jumping over themselves to say how insignificant they are. Because they’re scared. And that’s funny.

* So the left freaked out over Rush Limbaugh saying slut, but Bill Maher calls Sarah Palin a c-word and says other misogynist things, and Obama is all like, “This guy should fund raise for us.” The left don’t care about women. They care about politics. That’s why they’re always hesitant to talk about abuses of women in the Middle East, because to say Islamists are especially bad is to support right-wing viewpoints — and helping the other ideological side is much worse to them than anything that could happen to a woman, such as being drowned in a car. They’re the same way about racism. They like racism against people like Michelle Malkin and Clarence Thomas because they have different political views and thus deserve any horrible thing you can think of.

So next time the left acts like they don’t like harsh or vulgar rhetoric, we need to say to them, “No you don’t. You never disliked that. Shut up.”

* And people need to spend more time pointing out what a moral coward Barrack Obama is. He has a history of hanging around awful people and never speaking up. He went to Jeremiah Wright’s church for 20 years, he hung out with terrorist Bill Ayers, and now he won’t denounce Bill Maher because he wants that filthy lucre. And you know how dumb stupid Sarah Palin stood up against her own party in Alaska because it was corrupt? Is there any story of Obama standing against his own party on corruption. Maybe he just never ran into corruption… in Chicago.

When asked about Bill Maher, Obama said he’s not going to single out more bad people and just lead by example. Well, considering how awful the left acts, he’s a horrible leader.

Obama: Moral coward and useless as a leader. That’s all provable.

* The Keystone pipeline was once again defeated, though because of numerous Democrat defections there were 56 votes for it. If we had a problem with jobs and gas prices in this country right now, this would be a really big issue.

* Charles Murray has some ideas on how to reduce the isolation between the upper and lower class. I have my own idea: a fight club. Everyone is equal in a fight club. Also, rich people love punching poor people.

* Words of Wisdom from jon:

Just because I prefer white chocolate doesn’t make me racist but in the interest of full disclosure I do not care for minorities.

I placed my order for the new iPad. Only $14 bucks left in my allowance, now. Guess I’ll have to wait on Mass Effect 3 🙁 #FirstWorldProblems

The living conditions of a king hundreds of years ago compares unfavorably to that of a hobo today.

There’s going to be a campaign documentary of the Obama presidency. The plot will be pretty similar to the movie “2012”.

I checked the mail and my iPad isn’t here yet.

The left are becoming unhinged about how non-controversial the new Breitbart video is.

Republicans have gotten a time machine and are going to turn back the clock on women and then destroy the time machine because they hate science!

It’s worth bringing up Jeremiah Wright and Bill Ayers again as I think people will be more willing to look at Obama critically this time.

I’ve got this feeling that Newt Gingrich isn’t going to win the Republican nomination.

Obama is a bit of a moral coward when it comes to confront horrible people of his own ideology.

You have Jeremiah Wright, Bill Ayers, Bill Maher — he’ll never notice anything bad unless he’s forced to.

Remember when that Republican president sexually harassed women and had a woman come forward and accuse him of rape?

All we want liberals to do is admit they don’t care about women at all and only care about their politics. That’s it.

Next thing they have to admit that about is racism.

Metal Gear Solid games are really just long long movies with occasional video game breaks.

Apple Unveils New iBama Tablet

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) – Breaking with the tradition of numbering its new device releases, Apple has christened its latest version of the iPad the “iBama,” hoping to tie its launch to the enthusiasm and optimism of the President’s reelection campaign.

Apple CEO Tim Cook bubbled with excitement as he described some of the new features of his company’s product.

The new iBama comes with a handy Geography app listing the locations and capitals of all 57 states.

“The display is awesome,” he said, “the iBama comes alive with millions of diverse colors, because – thanks to our diligent efforts – it now has the most transparent screen ever.”

“We’ve also made the screen stronger. Unlike other Apple products, the iBama will be able to fall up to 30 millimeters with only minor shattering, as long as it lands on something soft, like a pillow or a particularly fluffy Pomeranian.”

Cook said people would be especially passionate about the upgrade to 4G wireless capability, and guaranteed users would get “a thrill going up their leg.”

“No more dropped connections, no more stuttering video,” Cook effervesced. “You’ll get strong clear, reception anywhere you travel, whether it’s Martha’s Vineyard, Vail, Hawaii, Spain, Rio, or even your local Ray’s Hell Burger.”

Although currently only available for pre-order, with a scheduled release date of March 16th, the iBama is already garnering positive attention world-wide. The clean, articulate device was recently listed among the 231 nominees under consideration by the 2012 Nobel Peace Prize jury. Cook was guardedly hopeful of getting the nod.

“Even though the iBama is barely out of the gate and hasn’t ACTUALLY accomplished anything yet,” said Cook,” it’s a heavy favorite to win. It has star power, name recognition, and just by its very existence in a country with a sad history of violent keyboardism, it offers the world the promise of a better, more peaceful tomorrow.”

Although some documentation, such as its original, long-form Certificate of Authenticity and the test results from various universities’ performance evaluations, will not be included with the iBama, Mr. Cook airily dismissed concerns over the omission. He emphasized that the wondrous device should be “judged on performance, not rumors,” and reminded potential buyers they should instead focus on “the many positive reviews it’s received from all the major news networks, give or take one.”

He also noted that “people need to accept that its eco-friendly all-electric design really is the future of computing in America, despite some in the right-wing media having exaggerated the tendency of its batteries to burst into flame.”

Nuke the News: Obama — The Movie!

* So there’s going to be this big documentary of the Obama presidency. You’d think it would be pretty cool — like one of those big disaster films like the movie 2012. But apparently it’s going to be a campaign tool for the Obama campaign, which means it will be about the Obama presidency but they’ll somehow portray all he’s done as good. So I’m not sure if it’s a documentary or science fiction.

* Joe the Plumber won a primary to run for the seat that Dennis Kucinich will not be running for. He probably has no chancehas it’s a very Democrat district, but it’s nice to see him out there again. As you remember, Obama came by his property and he dared to ask Obama a pointed question. So the media then searched into his background, doing all the research on Joe the Plumber that they refused to do on Barack the Community Organizer. Basically, Joe the Plumber reminds us of exactly why we hate the media and want to punch them in their stupid hippie faces. So good luck to Joe, but luckily he has an actual marketable skill to fall back on if he doesn’t get elected… another big contrast between him and Obama.

* There’s some talk that Obama may try some attack on gun rights in his second term… which seems pretty suicidal. I mean, it won’t hurt Obama if he’s already been reelected, but it will decimate the Democrats, most of whom have learned that the 2nd Amendment stove his hot — don’t touch it!

Of course, the Supreme Court case showed we’re only one judge away from not having an individual right to bear arms recognized. Obama claims he supports a right to bear arms while also pointing to the judges unable to identify and read the 2nd Amendment as his model justices. Isn’t it stupid how much of our rights depend on under which president a justice dies or retires? We really have to come up with a better system that the current Supreme Court.

* So apparently video games make you a quicker thinker and smarter. So basically, all my video game playing is making me like a super human. If you’re wondering how I became this awesome political writer, it was finding all the heart pieces in Legend of Zelda games. So if you’re wife or girlfriend tells you to play less video games, remember she’s just trying to make you weaker and dumber so she can control you.

Why again do we have wives and girlfriends? They really get in the way of playing video games.

* Wisdom of the Day from Alex Baze:

Love means never having to say you’re sorry. Marriage means never saying anything else.

* So what sank the Titanic? Scientists are now blaming… the moon! If the moon causing one of our greatest naval tragedies isn’t an act of war, I don’t know what is. And don’t think it’s the last time the moon will strike against us if we let this go unavenged. So how should we retaliate? I think you all know.

So far this college thing about Obama doesn’t seem like it compares at all to him having a nutty racist preacher for 20 years.

Oh yeah, and Obama also hung out with a terrorist. Why did we elect that amoral idiot?

How is it that Obama is supposed to know better than us about our own health care but couldn’t figure out that a racist preacher is bad?

Decided I will buy the new iPad. Debating whether to also order the $40 smart cover. And what to have etched on the iPad.

I think I’ll have etched on the iPad “Important Writer”. Should be a conversation starter on how I’m important and a writer.
