@3 pbunyan – I admit, I miss some references, too. Thing is, Chris is VERY on top of both the news and the right-wing blogosphere, so sometimes it’s hard to keep up.
On the other hand, I’ve also noticed he makes a good effort to include reference links in his cartoons, when he can.
