Speaking Ayn Rand, I saw Atlas Shrugged III, Who Is John Galt? tonight.
I guess they did the best they could with the budget they had.
Maybe they could get Peter Jackson to do a version some day.
I’m glad they didn’t go with Atlas Shrugged III: The Shruggening.
“I guess they did the best they could with the budget they had.”
Yeah, I didn’t expect a whole lot from this series of movies, so I wasn’t really disappointed.
Like most people, I hope that their existence serves mainly as a thrown gauntlet to a future production company to do it better.
If they could have kept the cast and production values of the first movie, it would have been sweet.
I saw signs of skimping in the second movie, and by the time this 3rd movie came out, they’d been reduced to talking heads, a few phony news flashes, and some location shots.
Dang! I’d really wanted to see how they were going to show that Sonic Cannon thingy destroying the Taggert Bridge, but they reduced the whole incident to a snapshot and a spoken comment.
Sigh. Better luck next time, John Galt.
