Obvious my dear walruskkkch…I’m not a woman. Or a librarian. Not that there’s anything wrong with being a male librarian. We all have to make a living.
She has a right to an abortion. I’m pretty sure there are others, but that’s the first one I thought of. Maybe men also have a right to an abortion, but I bet fewer than 3 have been performed on men since 1972, worldwide. On actual, biological men.
There is a big gray zone here, between some actual enumerated legal right, and any number of societal advantages women have. In the same way that few can tell the difference between Want and Need, few these days can tell the difference between Right and privilege. Here are a couple quick generic examples: Woman complains she’s underpaid because guys in her office earn more: she gets a raise. Man complains he’s underpaid because women in his office earn more: everybody gets a pay cut. Male teacher gets busy with frisky underage female student: he’s a rapist, burn him at the stake. Female teacher gets busy with frisky underage male student: it’s a pity she had to lose her job, the boy is a hero to his pals, and nobody believes he was injured by the experience at all. Can’t we just give her some probation? She’s too pretty for jail. Women are almost always awarded the children in a divorce. Go down to Social Services, and there is a WIC program – food voucher aid for Women with Infant Children. Can guys qualify for that? I don’t know, but I’ve never ever heard of a MIC program, have you?
There are plenty more in all aspects of life.
I think what makes this little comic funny is that we’re all supposed to have equal rights, and we pretty much do. But the pink pussy hat brigade always carries on like this is the 9th century or something.
Egad, I feel triggered now. You made me be serious on IMAO. The horror!!
oh no no no, you completely misrepresent the leftist here, every single thing they believe would do this to them if you could get them to actually understand what they’re advocating. The REAL response is
Now tell me a right a woman has that a man doesn’t.
I’ll wait.
I’m no legal scholar, but I’m pretty sure women can’t vote, own property, or wear pants.
No woman has a right to the last post at you know where.
So why do you keep trying to post there? 🙂
