  1. Figured I’d better beat the rest of the folks to it, but “chastise” is spelled with an “S”. Having said that, I agree with you. Being a person of mixed blood(the non PC and the way I refer to myself is “Mutt”) I think the Dems just look at non-whites as a disposable source of votes.
    JMHO
PS: DOn’t forget that today is All Saints Day, and is a Holy Day of Obligation. In other words, get you butts to Mass, and if you can, hit a confessional!!! (can’t imagine spending ETERNITY without this pithy repartee on this site……)

  2. I must’ve gotten the joke right away because I laughed gleefully when I first heard it.
I hate to say it but John Kerry might end up being a hero after all. He may end up being responsible for saving a few Republican butts.

  3. I’m beginning to believe that it isn’t Karl Rove who is the “master mind.” I think it’s Lynne Cheney. She outed herself in the take down of Wolf Blinkers last week. She’s the one who fed Kerry that “lame joke” and now she’ll just sit back and watch the feeding frenzy.
Well done Madame, you are the master.

  4. We’se getting tired of being fed, clothed and edjicated by our democrat largesse massas. Ifn Steele and Lim Swanns can overcome mebbe wese can. We shall over come! Can summons drive us to the polls?

  5. A friend of mine one said that Microsoft now controls the English language, since we instantly assume everything that Spell Check is true. It was funny a first… but now, I’m not so sure. The day we place our complete, unwavering trust in Grammar Check is the day Microsoft rules the world!
… that is, if they don’t already.

  6. Whah, thait Jon Carrey is mah heerow. Hee’s leevin proove uv wats it laike gowin tow wawr wif pore ejucashun. Hee dune waint ofer to ‘namm, an hee got stuk in somfin, or sumfin gote stuk in haim. Ah thank maibee thhat Aindee Sulvan stuk sumfin in him. Yup. bee smarrt ore yo git stuk.

  7. Interesting..sKerry claims that he botched a “joke”; his handlers claim that there’s a printout of what he MEANT to say…does this mean that he can’t READ????
Every generation of my family has served in the military since WW2 (and some even before), and we have college degrees all around! Wow, are WE ever dumb!!! Dangit, we’re all Republicans, too.

  8. “irregardless”
I like saving that one for the well educated folks. It’s one of my personal favorites. Just lob it in there as an exclamation at the beginning of a sentence. It’s most effective if I try to clean up the rest of my grammar around it though. I’ve been known to cause an occasional grammar riot with it.
