  1. I love how no group of politicians can ever perform the group arm-raising correctly. They all want to hold hands at the same time, but it doesn’t work that way. You’ve got to grab the wrists people, the wrists!

  2. Under (emphasis on under) democratic “leadership”, that caption is sad, but true. Unless you’re talking about responsibility to the real American citizens; in that case, they’ll run away full throttle.
I think they’re holding up the wrong flag. Shouldn’t the banner for their allegiance be completely white?

  3. In 1985, President Ronald Reagan received a group of bearded men. These bearded men I was writing about in those days in The New Yorker, actually did. They were very ferocious-looking bearded men with turbans looking like they came from another century. President Reagan received them in the White House. After receiving them he spoke to the press. He pointed towards them, I’m sure some of you will recall that moment, and said, “These are the moral equivalent of America’s founding fathers”. These were the Afghan Mujahiddin. They were at the time, guns in hand, battling the Evil Empire. They were the moral equivalent of our founding fathers!
In August 1998, another American President ordered missile strikes from the American navy based in the Indian Ocean to kill Osama Bin Laden and his men in the camps in Afghanistan. I do not wish to embarrass you with the reminder that Mr. Bin Laden, whom fifteen American missiles were fired to hit in Afghanistan, was only a few years ago the moral equivalent of George Washington and Thomas Jefferson!

  4. Ah…Narb has this whole thing figured out! So now Osama was a poor Mujahiddin fighting for his country and the whole thing is OUR fault! Interesting logic…except that he is the son of a Saudi who’s family fortune runs in the hundreds of millions of dollars! But small details like that don’t matter, Narby…keep blaming your own country for everything…it will make you feel better!

  5. My Dad once had some men with beards come to our house to replace the roof. He said they did a great job. Does that mean that mean Osama is Amish? I wish my Dad had used pirates, though…that would have been a better story.

  6. Narb confused me. How can we blame everything on President Busg if we have to put some of the blame on Presidnet Reagan? Focus people, focus! Nothing happened before Captian Shrubbery McBushitler stole the election in 2000. The whole world loved us and we loved the whole world, until then.
Hey Narb, How’d you lick a frickin’ laser mounted to your head?

  7. Narb, you ignorant slut. Yes, your hero Osama did fight with the Afghani mujahadeen against the Soviet invasion. Yes, we did fund and train these “freedom” fighters. Then after the Soviets bailed, the Islamonutzies in Afghan, now known as the Taliban, gradually took over the country and made the mess we had to go in and clean up. Osama’s allegiance is to himself, not Saudi Arabia, Iraq or Afghan. He wants the world dominated by sharia law. You and your surrender monkey democrats can piss into the wind all you want, the danger is there and it is real. Now that the media sheep known as “moderates” have returned the liberals to power, let’s see what your plan is to handle Iraq and Afghan. I think we will end up with “Peace in Our Time” if Pelosi and Reid have their way. Oh yes, and you are a doo doo head.

  8. Hey, thanks for reminding everyone that OBL and the sunshine band are untrustworthy, and that they will bite the hand that feeds them. Instead of freeing the Afgans they subjugated them in a little shangrila right out of the 7th century. Other than pointing out that world events are not in a static state, What are you trying to say?

  9. Am I the only one playing Faux Troll Patrol?
“I was writing about in those days in The New Yorker”
“They were at the time, guns in hand, battling the Evil Empire.”
“whom fifteen American missiles were fired to hit in Afghanistan”

  10. We’re fighting the Amish and Pirates now too?
This is worse than Beirut, keeping track of all the different factions has me totally confused.
The “war on terror” is getting really strange.
Anyway, That gives me an exit strategy no-one else has considered, SURRENDER TO THE AMISH.
