Rachel has a must see post of a letter from her husband’s cousin who is serving in Afghanistan. Here’s part of it:
The Taliban are telling everyone that they are winning the war and that the Americans are cowards because we voted for the peace party.
The enemies of America cheering on a Democratic win were inevitable, and the Democrats have to realize it is happening. The only real response for them is to start out hawkish to quell this.
I.e., stop the surrender talk, dinguses, and put Murtha in the old folk’s home.
Yeah…the Donks will get right on that…right after they have 100% agreement on what the definition of “is” is…and they raise my taxes…and they take away my guns…and declare the Bible to be “hate speech”…
Murtha shouldn’t be put in an old folks home. He should be put in jail. He could share a cell with Ted Kennedy and O,J.
Dems can’t help but talk surrender. It’s what they do. It’s what they will always do. At least those traitors will be first against the wall when the jihad comes to our shores. I just hope they show the executions on jihad America network otherwise known as CNN. It may be the first time I would tune in
Actually, the DemoCRAP “peacenik and appeasement” is a survival trait. No one bothers to kill the cooperative ones when they conquer.

I still say that the DemocRATic party is full of sissies and pansies that spent most of their formative year either getting their asses kicked for being dicks or crying to their mommies. It made them the wimps and pussies that they are today! The media is full of these pricks too and because of them we are going to run from Iraq with our tail between our legs like we did from Vietnam! Grrrrrr!!!!!!!! Our soldiers deserve much better leadership than this and the failure of this administration to go over there, kick the bad guys asses and communicate the plan to the American people is inexcusable!
What Democrats need to do is spend the next two years crushing their opponents like bugs. It’s not about mercy, it’s not about manners, it’s about three fundamental goals: limiting the damage the Bush administration can do, passing whatever legislation they can in the short term to help the American public and laying the foundation for future progressive victories.
What really ticks me off is that we elected these clowns to office, just to teach the republicans a “lesson.” Well, this lesson is about to get real expensive.

This is good right? We taught everybody in the world a lesson right along with the GOP. That America is too fickle to win a war now. Thanks to the immigration debate will we lose another war? Thanks all you “real” conservatives. I’ll bet the same people who are ripping dems the most over this didn’t even vote.

I also voted, so there’s another great theory shot down. “Crush like bugs?” I can see that. The libs sending their shock troops into the homes of law abiding citizens to seize their firearms, rendering them unable to defend themselves from the criminals the lefties refuse to prosecute. If Bush and the Repubs are trying to establish a totalitarian state, why do libs (who will save us) espouse the totalitarian tactics of Hitler, Stalin, etc and disarm the populace. It is so disapointing to realize just how bad things might get with liberals in the drivers seat. They pander to Muslims, but are quick to blame Conservs when their allegiances blow up, sometimes literally, in their faces. God help us ir they get the Whitehouse in 2008. Sadly, America’s enemies are long-suffering enough to exploit the liberal ignorance until it’s our turn to undo the damage left behind by liberal/dhimmist non-leadership & then they attack again.
It’s a cycle that will continue as long as Americans keep falling for the “peace” initiatives set forth by cowardly Dems.
If you want peace, then prepare for…
