I was thinking: Kids these days just don’t get enough riddles. They would hardly stand a chance if they were to run into a Sphinx or a Gollum. So, as a public service, I will present some riddles. Here is the first one, and it’s an easy one (well, SarahK got it):
Six siblings we are,
The older three born last,
The younger three born first,
And our creator through us was first god, then devil.
If you can identify of what the riddle speaks and are the first to post it in the comments, you win…
…wait for it…
HIGH PRAISE!

The Star Wars films and George Lucas.
[Too easy; next will be harder. -Ed.]
Star Wars! Damn that Lucas.
We are the Star Wars Movies.
That was painfully easy.
The Knights who say, “Ni!”
dang it. I wasn’t fast enough. But no one has mentioned Jar Jar the minion. Nor the upcoming 3D.
yeah, just hoping for a piece of that sweet, sweet praise.
I want riddles about firearms and firearms technology, not movies.
starwars series!!! yep, i read the answers first
The riddle reads like Yoda dialog.
“Six siblings we are, (ummm)…”
damn. I was sure it was the 3 stooges, and reid/pelosi/obama…I think I deserve some regular praise anyhow.
The Osmonds?
I didn’t get this one.
🙁 And it was pretty easy.
Wrath of Khan wasn’t that bad, but that’s the one George Lucas didn’t make.
It has to be Hillary but I didn’t know she had siblings…
Baggins! We hates it for ever!
Ow, that hurts my head! Stupid riddles!
@MarkoMancuso
Ditto!!
I thought it was GM (Pontiac, Chevy, Olds, Buick, GMC, Cadillac) but then I realized Henry Ford didn’t “create” GM so I’m gonna have to go with bunkerboy and say The Osmonds.
I hope the next riddle is:
“What is your favorite color?”
I’d have to say , “Blue, no,
yell-AAAHHHHHHH!!!”
Sorry, just reads like a Louis Farrakhan speech to me.
It’s the number “666”; the name of the number of the beast.
This riddle describes the timelessness of Eternity, and the fall of Lucifer.
I await your **ahem** “HIGH PRAISE!”
I’ll freely admit, I didn’t know the answer despite totally getting it once I saw the answer.
Wow, I’m a total Star Wars fanboy, and I still couldn’t come up with that answer. I must be a complete moron. (Been spending too much time over at Ace of Spades I guess.)
George Lucas treats his fans like an abusive husband: he abuses us, then promises he won’t do it again. The sad thing is we keep taking him back….
First a god, then a god-damned idiot.
