“It’s hot in here and I stink.”
Forward. My mail to Chicago. Possibly Beijing.
That’s not the horse’s mouth.
The trouble with those funny out takes is that 57% of American women will not pay attention to them…and they are planning to vote for the clueless, amaturish, empty-suited idiot-in-chief anyway. I guess that it is like child birth. After they have their first kid, they swear that they are never going to go through that pain again. Then within four years, they have another kid. Is that being a gultton for punishment or what?
John, I am an American woman and I most definitely will NOT vote for Obama!!!!!!!!!!!
I am also a woman and I didn’t vote for the fool the first time.
You go girl .. or should I say you girls I think most gals are smarter then that John..
I am a woman and I have not and will not vote for Obama…..
How anyone with even a minimal brain cell working could possibly support this narcissistic so-called leader is beyond me!
I am also a woman and I would never vote for that man. I refuse to call him “Mr President” . He’s not my President!
I think of their main special-interest constituency groups, Obama will lose a good portion of women & the youth vote. Todays women are, for the most part, critical thinkers and I think realize the mistake they made 4 years ago. A lot of kids; unable to face the embarassment of their choice, will stay away from the polls this time. The hispanic bloc is also up for grabs as a good deal of them are conservative, God-fearing, hard working individuals that are looking for someone to represent them honestly. Towards that end, Rubio is the key to success in November.
Of the remaining special-interest groups, unfortunately, you have to write off the African-American vote. You wouldn’t get them away from Obama with a Herman Cain / Condi Rice ticket. Likewise, the gays. They are convinced that a Republican administration would boil them in oil. And lastly, there are the deceased voters. Only Democrats register dead people.

what r u nuts…I am soooooooo not a fan of BARRY. HE SHOULD BE IN JAIL. FEEL SORRY FOR THE GIRLS IESHA AND KELEKOO, THEY WERE BORN INTO THE WRONG FAMILY…
I still think Kerry would’ve been a FAR better choice than DUBYA – and a _hell_ of a lot better than Obama – at least JK was informed, tough,
experienced, and we knew where and when was born, haha — and he actually SERVED his country, and there was NOTHING that he hid.
One absolutely can not say that about Obama OR Romney… We’ve made possibly the worst mistakes of this century to go into Iraq, AND
stay as long as we have, in Afghanistan…. the barbarians do not want us, do not want democacy, do not want Democratic or Judeo-Christian
values that built this country.
TV and hollywood have been “dumbing down ” Americans for years – one result has lead to many “dumb” votes is 2008. We have a President who has no clue , advisors who have no experience(and are just as un-Amercian as he is), and voters who are either un-informed or just fail to forsee the consuequences of what is happening. Barrack and Michelle offend me with their arrogance, haughtiness, and the belief that the “purse” for thier personal spending has no bottom – $1,000,000 for a date to NYC, come on! America Wake Up – those aren’t roses we smell, but a “decaying” society.
What is this board….just a hate the President rant? How can you call yourself American if you condemn the person who gets elected? You can disagree with him, you can oppose him politically, but this all out irrational hatred is scary. It’s like a bunch of enraged extremists plotting to take over. The man is the President of the United States of America. His history can’t be erased. On the other hand I recall people walking around with “Bush equals Hitler” signs back in 2004. Are they both Hitler? Hitler was a fascist…which is right wing extremism, the polar opposite of communism which is left wing extremism. Politically it would make more sense to compare Obama to Stalin rather than Hitler. The fact is that in America our political leaders are still far from either extreme but the hatred and extremist views on this website aren’t going to keep us there long. So the real question isn’t which way do you want to go rather than how are we going to stay free and in the middle?
I don’t agree with Obama’s policies. It is not the place of the president to order bailout of privae companies suc as GM and Solendra. I disagree with granting a billion dollars to Brazil for drilling off shore. We coul drill here and provide jobs which are badly needed . I disagree with stopping construction of the Pipeline from Canada –another job killer!
Jeff has my condolences. He is obviously a victim of the propaganda system of this nation in that he doesn’t know the difference between right-wingers and fascism. At that time in history there was hardly any difference between Hitler, Stalin, Hirohito and FDR. They were all left wing extremists. Jeff has been programmed to think that fascism is right wing because that is what our government schools told him. Right wingers stand for rule of law by way of the Constitution through a limited government. He needs to watch the video about “Our form of government” on You Tube which explains it all very well.
#19 – Gary,
Is this the video you mean?
I learned more from this 10 minute video than from 12 years of ‘social studies’ in public school.
Watch it Jeff, it may change your life!

@ Lill…Obama didn’t order a bailout of the auto industries. It was a Republic plan to bail out the auto industry, specifically President Bush’s plan. Remember the private jet fiasco? Under Obama they didn’t get the bailout, they got bought out. Bought out by the American people (our tax dollars). It was a needed investment in our own economy and it worked. Ask Mitt Romney, he claimed he can “take a lot of credit” for it.
The leaders of the auto industry who mismanaged it were mostly fired…their companies dismantled and rebuilt. Those new corporations are now profitable and once again the United States makes the best cars in the world.
Bottom line is that it all worked out pretty well…there are always of course a few people who lost but most people gained. It’s a far more complicated issue than most people realize and it’s always interesting to watch the parties attempt to take credit for the good and blame each other for the bad.
Oh, and I watched the video linked above…I’m always open to listening but that guy is nuts. Anyone can put together a video saying any amount of garbage they want but ….really? Comon! This video was posted by a guy who is trying to argue that Hitler and the Nazis weren’t responsible for the Holocaust. Yeah right! So who are the fascists around here!? You should be ashamed for just posting a link to that dribble.
To John from July 31 and all the ladies that bothered to defend their intelligence quotient,
John, praise God that we live in America as I was demonstrating for your right to free speech just the other day. Just because you have the right does not necessarily mean you should. I cannot judge you on that as I am still learning myself.
Ladies, what are you thinking to give any merit to what appears to be a misogynistic viewpoint? As he talks about women and we’ll probably vote Obama in again, we go through childbirth and “forget” and do it again, I seriously wonder about his own intelligence quotient. Wherever it is in the Bible about forgetting the pain of childbirth, it was written by a man that never gave birth himself. Women did not have much of a choice in whether they were having sex or not, whether they had children or not. Perhaps John would like to go back to 1920 and allow only men to vote, we’re such dumb creatures and cannot remember. If you have a wife, try to cheat on her and see how long she remembers. Perhaps we should go back even farther, before the Civil War, when only “informed” white men with a certain amount of property were allowed to vote. Yes, women have more choice than we used to, a lot of us can learn from mistakes and do things differently. But guess what? Americans still don’t have much of a choice when it comes to voting, just like in the giving birth thing of times past. The “informed” people of wealth and privilege still pick our candidates and like women of the present and times past we are supposed to shut up and take it.
Jeff, in providing cover for the inept current administration you offer up the example of the auto industry, give all the credit to Obama, and you said, “there are always of course a few people who lost but most people gained.”
If that is, in your mind, truth then why all the disparaging comments from the Left about Mitt Romney and Bain Capital?
Eighty percent of the companies Bain Capital has invested in from its founding to today have grown revenues. When companies grow, they are able to hire more workers and our economy grows.
Bain Capital pursued an investment strategy that often included targeting companies in decline and trying to turn them around. In most cases, it held the companies for many years and invested a significant amount of human and financial capital into improving operations to help revive these struggling companies.
When President Obama attacks Governor Romney’s record in the private sector, he’s also attacking our country’s greatest engine for job creation: the free enterprise system.
Example: In 1993, GS Technologies, a company Bain Capital had invested in, purchased a struggling Kansas City steel plant from Armco. Prior to this investment, Armco announced plans to close the Kansas City plant if a buyer could not be found.
This investment – and $170 million in upgrades – kept the Kansas City plant competitive in a tough international market and saved the steel workers’ jobs for eight years.
In 1992, Bain Capital invested in American Paper & Pad, or Ampad. Two years later – while Governor Romney was on a leave of absence to run for U.S. Senate against the late Ted Kennedy – Ampad purchased the assets of an unprofitable plant in Marion, Indiana from Smith Corona.
This was not a healthy plant: In the year preceding Ampad’s purchase, the Marion plant lost more than $1.6 million dollars.
Though the Marion plant would later close, Ampad added nearly 2,500 jobs at other plants between Bain Capital’s initial investment and the sale of its majority interest. During this same period, revenues grew dramatically from $8.8 million to more than $580 million.
Under Governor Romney’s leadership, Bain Capital invested in over 100 companies. Of those, President Obama’s campaign has accused three of shipping jobs overseas. In two of these cases, the accusations are related to events that occurred in 2000 and 2001, well after Governor Romney left Bain Capital in February 1999 to lead the Winter Olympics. In the third case, the share of domestic production actually increased, not decreased, during the time the Obama campaign points to. This attack is merely an attempt to distract voters from President Obama’s failed economic record and his refusal to stand up to China’s unfair trade practices.
Under Bain Capital’s ownership, Stage Stores doubled the number of employees and doubled the number of stores. During this time, Stage Stores added locations in Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Iowa. Bain Capital sold its controlling interest in the company in 1997. Years later, Stage Stores filed for bankruptcy, but today it is a healthy business with 14,000 employees and hundreds of new stores nationwide.
So, yes, in the process of reorganizing and resuscitating failing ventures some people lost their job. On the other hand, the net result was the salvation and the creation of thousands upon thousands of good paying jobs.
Make up your mind, Jeff. You can’t have your cake AND eat it too!
Thanks for your insightful response MickMc, but I’m not sure what it has to do with me. I’ve never said anything about Mitt Romney and Bain Capital. I’m not responsible for any Obama campaign comments in that regard nor am I familiar enough with that particular issue to comment.
I also don’t see what any of that has to do with trade practices in China but I am very familiar with that issue and am highly qualified to comment. I have many friends who invest heavily in both China and Chinese companies. Trust me when I tell you there are plenty of Americans, myself included, who have learned how to make great profits directly as a result of Chinese Government policies with regards to their trade practices. I actually have employed people in the US with money I make from China in order to further assist my overseas endeavors.
It’s not fair to blame the President for what you may perceive as unfair trade policies with China. China is a sovereign nation with a powerful economy and can do what they want. The US has taken a great many steps to push China into more favorable trade practices including getting them to ease up on the value of their currency…which incidentally, was under President Obama. After all, what did we have before Obama? George Bush was hands down the worst President with regards to foreign policy since prior to World War II. Certainly anyone can do a better job than that….even Mitt Romney.
“Standing up to China” is a delicate diplomatic process that has a huge impact on a great many American investors, workers, and corporations, myself included. I’m just glad our foreign policy isn’t in your hands.
And I’m glad to see you supporting Mitt Romney now, during the primaries it seemed all the conservatives hated him. I actually like the guy.
I would just like to correct Jeff.
You said that Hitler was a fascist, which is untrue, Hitler was a Nazi which means National Socialist, i.e. left wing. Mussolini was a fascist.
In addition to the fact that the irrational hatred is coming mostly from the left about Christians, Tea Party, etc. and started before Obama was in office about Bush and has only continued and gotten much worse. Conservatives have been behind the eight ball and we are only trying to stand up for ourselves against the tyranny of our government and the uneducated.
