They’re Heeeeeere…

Nuke the Moon t-shirts are now in stock (available in Medium, Large, XL, and 2 XL) and will be shipping to those who preordered them.
Of course, this calls for a big promotion and celebration. Details soon. Until then, order your shirt.
UPDATE: If anyone has ideas for promoting selling the shirt, please tell me. And they can’t involve giving away free shirts. More posting on this tomorrow.

  1. How about people who order a shirt get a signed copy of an “In My Own World” featuring either first date between Buck and the Fox News Reporter, or Condoleezza Rice and her nefarious Nuke the Moon scheme? Or a combination of both? Available exclusively to purchasers of the T-Shirt.
Oh, yeah, and free T-Shirts to people who make good How To Sell T-Shirt Suggestions.

  2. Hey Frank-
Just happened to notice that your “nuke the moon” T-shirts show a large firery mushroom cloud at what appears to be the Northern Pole of the moon. Now I could be wrong, but I assume that an atmosphere containing oxygen would be required to form a large firery mushroom cloud. So I just assume you left out the part about terraforming the moon prior to nuking it. You might want to address this in the future. Actually if you think about it, this might improve on the concept.
EU (and other assorted forigners): OK, first the Americans go through the the trouble and cost of terraforming the moon……….Then after achieving this never before attempted and insanely complex task…….they NUKE the dog-snot out of it!?!?……..We’re staying the hell away from those mothers…….thier frickin NUTS”!!!!!! Just a thought-

  3. How about this:
All of the regulars to IMAO who have their own blog (or other type) site mention this great deal, and once-in-a-lifetime chance to own one of these wonderful shirts.
I will be partaking this in my crappy little livejournal, to my audience of six, but if you all help out we should be able to get the word around pretty fast!

  4. I like Jeffrey B.’s idea of sending an exclusive “In My World” to those who purchase the t-shirt. The shirts need to be shipped anyway, right? I think it should include the long-awaited showdown between Laura and Condi. Who could resist?

  5. Years ago when I lived in Hollywood, I designed a t-shirt for a production company that did 1970’s kid’s shows. The shirt was VERY popular and I was happy that it was selling. Then, I found out that it was selling because it had become popular at rave parties as some kind of retro drug-culture symbol.
So, if Nuke the Moon accidentally becomes popular with the ecstasy/techno/rave crowd, you’ll sell hundreds of them. Maybe you can give them away to local DJs who will wear your shirt in front of a crowd of nitrous oxide-sniffing, pill-popping, glow stick waving…on second thought, BAD IDEA. Forget I brought this up, OK.

  6. Frank,
I know you stopped the Glenn Reynolds rumors, but maybe you can photoshop Glenn wearing a “Nuke the Moon” T-shirt while riding a Middle East Cycle of Violence. InstaPundit could help you sell your shirts. FWIW.
