  1. Frank, don’t you see? You’ve become an unwitting part of the problem!
    By linking to that story on Kos, you’re forwarding all of your fans to him, in addition to the inflated numbers he already has for being a total jerk.
    Mr. J, take down that link!

  2. I always thought and now have been proved right in my thinking on lead being good for you.
    It is a demonstratively known fact that YES lead IS good for you….with this proviso;
    It must be on a trajectory AWAY from oneself!
    That’s why one must ONLY shoot at something one is willing to hit (oh gawd, I NEED to get out to the range more often. It’s been SO long whine)!
    Just my $.02

  3. Frank,
    Any chance you could use a header like “Muckadoo About Nothing” for these updates on the lunatic fringe?
    It would be sorta like “In My World” except nauseating instead of funny. I’d really appreciate it so I’d know better than to click the link too soon after dinner.

Nothing wrong with grandmothers and girl scouts, and I applaud S&W for developing a round with good hitting power that allows almost everyone to use a respectable handgun.
    But if 160 grains is good, 230 is better. And to stay with the .45 motif, I just ordered a Marlin 1895G, should get it next week. Then we’ll see what 405 grains will do. Next black bear that comes round my house is going to regret it – just not for very long. But bears are pretty smart, to judge from the Hanna-Barbera nature documentaries of my youth, and will probably stay away until I go overseas again.
    Man, that’s why I love this site – every topic eventually comes round to firearms. That almost never happens on NPR.

  6. If it weren’t for “News”, I’d have to create filler…

    The Word for the Day is: “Wishful Thinking”… ZOOP! Otay…. C:\drive on my workstation went belly up again, so after a days worth of tinkering and rerouting, and $135 poorer from JustDeals.com for 3 drives, I transferred all of my…
