While we’re on the issue of other bloggers to be grateful for, a large part of my success is from the recognition of Emperor Darth Misha I who has a great essay on what Bush needs to do. Bush is smarter is than I pretend he is, though, and I’m still hopeful he’ll make mincemeat out of Kerry.
And if he doesn’t…
Also, did Rachel Lucas run away again?

Like I said on Misha’s site:
Americans will walk through Hell in a gasoline suit to follow a true leader (read: Reagan).
Mr. Bush: PLEASE stop trying to please all of the people all of the time. Follow your convictions and we will follow you.
Yep, can’t find much in that essay I disagree with. Although I think Fallujah was a trap that was supposed to put us in the position of starting a civil war, and we didn’t fall for it.
But the rest, yep. People at war need solid leadership.
Speaking of leadership. First!
ok, so I’m a good but confused follower instead. Feh.
I’ve been wondering that too (about Rachel). Time for someone to ask Misha.
Yeah, I can’t find Rachel either. She stopped posting about 2 weeks ago and now there’s nothing but a blank page. Bummer.
Rachheellll….. oh Raaaaacheeellll
No answer.
hmmmmm
Agree with you Dave. People with short memories also make me aggravated. I loved Ronald Reagan but he is the one who actually gave amnesty to illegal aliens, withdrew us from Lebannon and merely bombed Libya ala Bill Clinton and Afghanistan/Iraq. If you do not think RR compromised all of the time you need to reread your history. GWB has led us to two victories over terrorist regimes while at the same time leading us into an amazing economic recovery after inheriting the beginning of a recession and the largest attack on our soil against our financial and military centers. GWB is the man.I’m thinking of voting for him.
Good point on Bush criticism. I often wrote it off to “I’m really a lefty but I’m gonna say ‘I was a Bush-supporter until this!’
There is just so much intellectual dishonesty on the left. Far more.
