Sorry to keep being so serious, but I thought I’d share this update on the Torreses:
As of this morning, both mom and baby are doing well. Susan is still holding on and the baby continues to grow and move around a great deal.
The baby is a little smaller than the doctors had originally believed, so they have pushed back the earliest date for delivery to from July 11 to July 18.
The Torres and Rollin families would like to thank everyone for the overwhelming generosity they have received, both in the form of donations and encouraging words. We are still processing the tremendous number of donations that have come in, however we estimate that we have received approximately $300,000 from all over the world. We have all been very touched to see so many kind and helpful people in this world. Thank you to everyone that has helped us come this far and thank you to everyone that has sent us such kind notes.
I watched the husband and brother on Larry King the other night. It was heartbreaking.
I hope that poor kid does well.
Lots of preemies have lung problems later in life, so let’s hope it is healthy at birth.

She could be giving birth to one of the greatest scientific minds ever known, or she could give birth to an underdeveloped child. Either way, all life is precious until they try to blow us up.
I’m praying for both Susan and the baby. God save them both.
