the kitties love to torture mommy and blame everything on each other. the other day, i was printing wedding invitations and reading IMAO on the desktop computer. Minerva believes that all printers are inherently evil and should never be allowed to operate. she also believes that anything that comes out of the printer should be killed dead.
“Look, ma! It’s daddy’s blog!”
“The printer is on! It’s pure evil! It will kill us all!”
“Quick, ma, look over there! Minerva’s doing something!”
“Ma, don’t look at me, look at Sydney! She’s destroying everything!”
What’s missing from this picture? “I didn’t do anything! I was just reading daddy’s blog! It’s so funny!”
“It’s alive!”
“I must kill it!”
“But mommy, it’s a diversion! She’s using me to distract you so she can take over and record her own podcast!“
“Meow Meow Meow Meow…”
“But look, mommy, I can sing too! Some people wait a life time… for a meowment like this…”
what great co-workers : )
Whan has Sydney ever said anything close to resembling “Meow”?
Pretty girls! I especially like the gray one. I have always loved gray kitties.
SkyeChild,
She was found as a kitten in the parking lot at work in January.
Shoulda left her there…
i should have had her singing “squeak like an Egyptian”
sorry, that was sarahk.
Sarah K,
I love the interplay… I had three cats, siblings, and recently lost the Yakko, who I described as “harpo marx with fur” because of his facially expressive mischievousness. The pics brought back some very silly memories. As for vocalization, Frank, I assume you mean she doesn’t make conventional cat sounds. Pay close attention, those are “words” and they will repeat when they mean something. Yakko could shake his head “no” and make a “no” like sound when he meant “no”. His sister has a consistent five “word” sentence for “turn on the sink – I’m thirsty and want attention” I hear at least once a day.
Yes, Frank, I’m asking you to pay attention to the cat. If you can manage that, things will go easier with the heavily-armed cat mom.
I thought those cats got thrown into a bog.
Aww! They’re adorable. I miss my cat…in that respect, college sucks.
And Frank, some cats are really just one person cats. Like, my cat is as sweet as anything when he’s with me, but anyone who isn’t me is looking for a painful encounter if they go to pick him up.
Aw, Sydney’s so cuuuute!
…hmm.
Your household needs a good cat hateing dog with quick reflexes and sharp teeth !
My momma won’t let me get a cat because she doesn’t like them… sighs
Of course, given the choice I’d pick my dog over a cat any day. Why can’t I have both?
Those cats are both beautiful. Pretties!
I miss the time when my cat was always lying on my Commodore 64’s monitor…
Wasn’t even a monitor, but a black & white TV.
And where else to hang one’s tail than in front of the screen?
Oooh! Computer literate kitties! Who says cats have stopped evolving. Next thing you know, they WILL be taking over the world!
