I’ve missed a lost of the new season but my wife informs me that the people at CTU aren’t nearly the ornery pricks they’ve been for the past four.
That really bugged me about the show. Everytime they cut to CTU I could help but exclaim, “Who acts like that?”
Qustion for Frank or anyone who watches 24:
After Frank made me want to watch Firefly it was great and so on, but with 24 being in Season 5? can you just start watching and figure out what is going on or do you need to start with Season1? Thanks

You don’t have to watch the previous seasons, but the first hour of this season would not have been as devestating if you didn’t already know the characters from the previous seasons.

Yeah, but karate chopping the scissors further into the guys neck was mucho badass.
bah… I watched Vegas instead. It was good.
24 has sucked the life out of me since the second season.. I just can’t have that kind of “the world is close to ending” adrenaline 100% of the time.
Chloe is a badass… she has all the best lines and facial expressions. 🙂
Edgar looks like he ate a whale.
Audrey is still annoying… clingy.

1) does anyone else think we need to give kiefer sutherland a job at the CIA?
2) does anyone else think that the guy who slept with chloe is telling the truth?
3) whats the deal with this new administrator guy? is he good/bad?
4) will jack choose the chick hes been living with or audrey?
5) will jack dying mean the end of the series?
6) whos the real bad guy this time? (for some reason I can’t help but think its not really chechans)

Jack’s new girl is such a fox, I can’t believe he could really say more to Audrey than “Hey. Yeah, sorry that I wasn’t really dead, but it was for the good of the country, y’know how that goes. So, how ya been? Great. Well, gotta run. Y’know, terrorists. I’ll call ya sometime.”
The sentimental scene between them ate entirely too much time. The CTU compound seems like it is infused with some sort of strange dialogue gas. People say wierd stuff and it tends to detract from the action.
Chloe’s wierd stuff rulez all, though. I thought she sucked until she shot a guy. Odd how that can change your opinion of someone.
I thought the funniest line was Chloe’s: “Well, it was really an apology, more like an observation…”
Anyway, I never saw the first 4 seasons, but after starting this season, I got hooked. I put all of the first four seasons on my netflix list. 4 hours per disc = 6 discs per season x 4 seasons… it’s going to take a while to get through. I might need to increase my membership level to 8 movies at a time for a while, just to feed the obsession. I only get two at a time now and have seen only the first 8 hours of season one. I am so hyped to see the rest of them! I am sleep deprived also!
This is the most exciting show on TV. President Logan is such a creep tho. And don’t they do background investigations on anyone? Chloe is amazing. That slimeball she spent the nite with is a creep too. I think he’s lying. But Jack will get him!! I’m surprised Tony is still alive. What a lucky guy.
Last nights episode was kinda badass, though not as badass as the first four episodes. To much lovey dovey crap and not enough of Jack Bauer killing people with everyday objects, like a toaster.

The fight at the end was cool except for how quickly getting stabbed in the necke killed the bad guy.
