I have to believe that we really are doomed and nolonger have a population with enough brains to support a functional democracy an it’s time to start discussions on what we replace it with and ensure that WE make that choice and not the other side.

One very good reason to oppose McCain is power.
As Conservatives if we give in and support McCain, regardless if he wins or looses, we loose. We will have been demonstrated to be irrelevant. If we oppose McCain and he looses we demonstrate that we matter and are a factor. Todays Republican spin masters have bet the farm that we are irrelevant. I’m betting we are not and I intend to prove it by opposing McCain at every point.
