Since we’re getting near the end, here’s a nice powerful ad idea for McCain for the final week:
MCCAIN: I was held prisoner by the North Vietnamese for five and half years. They tortured me, beat me, spat upon me, but you know the one thing I remember most about my captors? How much their economic philosophy resembles Obama’s.
ANNOUNCER: Barack Obama: [bleep]ing Commie
racist!
you’re just trying to distract from the issues!
Saw this on AoSHQ yesterday:
McCain; tortured by Communists.
Obama; tutored by Communists.
I would love to see ads like that. Any ad where they have to bleep out what they’re saying about the opponent would just be a fresh breath of air in the stagnant politcal arena.
Perfect.
I found it interesting that McCain on Letterman made a passing reference comparing Letterman to his Viet-Cong torturers. Letterman, ever clueless, was a butthole to him anyway. McCain, ever gracious, may have subconsciously forewarned him that any delusions that this would be the worst attack he would suffer from a liberal were just that. He pretty much laughed through the interview as if to tell Letterman, “is that all you got? You can’t even break my smile, let alone my will, amateur!”
But poll numbers still show Obama better able to ‘rescue the economy’ (yeah, from what? 75 years of Democrat legislation with the latest round from a sellout socialist Republican President and a Democrat Congress?)
The whole country is in denial including most Republicans. Everything – including our money – has been politicized.
Best. Ad. Ever.
The best McCain ad EVER.
Unfortunately it would probably be deemed too effective for geniuses running his campaign.
I wish I had the money to finance that ad. You’re a genius, Frank.
D’oh! 😮
A little too [bleep]ing subtle for me. Needs more [bleep]ing expletives. Many [bleep]ing more.
Frank,
The left always refers to Fox News as the Republican mouthpiece or the State Media. When Obama gets elected, it is time to turn the tables and begin calling every liberal paper and channel state run media. This has to be reinforced so people are clear that they are not impartial like the liberals did to Fox News, even though it is clearly more impartial than the New York Times.
With best regards,
Phil
Ya know, assuming Obama does lose, (I have my doubts that ACORN’s efforts will not be successful) it will be about color. He’ll lose, but not because he is black, but because he is red.
#10 Thomas – You’re giving me hope! Maybe BHO is too lazy and slow to implement his socialist change.
