Any damn fool knows a virgin birth does not require certification. And Jones-Kelley’s talents would be better suited in a career at the department of corrections.

I’m beginning to wonder if I really want to know all there is to know about Barack Obama.
It could be that the worst we can imagine … isn’t as bad as it really is.
What’s the worst I can imagine? Okay, at worst he’d hang out with people who hate America and/or are convicted felons, he would destroy our economy with Marxist economics, he’d be a radical gun-grabber, a radical infanticide advocate, he would have plans to weaken our military, he would want to implement socialist healthcare, and he would want to surrender to our enemies.
And then you stop and think, “This is just the tip of the iceberg.”
We need to give Ms. Jones-Kelley time to gather the necessary information. After all, the Kenyan government is much slower than the Hawaiian one.

I’m still holding on to a thin shred of hope that we will be spared an Obama administration.

The fix has been in on the issue of his legality to be president. The judge who dismissed the case challenging Obama’s eligibility to be president didn’t dismiss it on its merit, but on whether or not a voter could be harmed enough by an illegal president to make him/her enough of a “victim” to justify bringing the lawsuit. Amazingly, the judge dismissed the case on that basis. So, according to that judge, a citizen doesn’t have the right to bring a suit against an illegal politician…incredible. I wonder who supposedly does.
Fired? Someone (of a lawyerly disposition) should help Joe the Plumber out and offer to represent him and then sue the pants off not only Jones-Kelley or Kelly Jones or whatever her PC name is, but also the state of Ohio. First for allowing her to misuse government funds and equipment and then for slander. Misuse of her office and the governors unwillingness to fire her should be enough to win Joe quite a few nickels.
Son of Bob – Not a fix. “Lack of standing” is a real and important legal issue. Our courts don’t exist to make things fair, they’re there to allow an avenue for justice when one person harms another.
I don’t like the result either, but it’s the correct one.
As for who WOULD have standing… I’m not sure. You’d think one of those tobacco lawyers would be able to come up with a novel legal theory for a test case.
And if nothing else, I think this is exactly the sort of situation that cries out for class action status.

I’m uncomfortable with a ruling by a judge that says “it doesn’t matter what the Constitution says, what’s the harm?”
Article VI says “This Constitution … shall be the supreme law of the land; and the judges in every state shall be bound thereby, anything in the Constitution or laws of any State to the contrary notwithstanding.”
The judge is bound to follow the Constitution. So the argument that he won’t enforce the Constitution since the guy didn’t prove harm just doesn’t ring with me. Sure, I’m not a lawyer, and never have been a lawyer, but I’m thinking my sense of right and wrong is pretty good.
Still, the judge had an out.
Article III says the Supreme Court’s “judicial power shall extend to all cases, in law and equity, arising under this Constitution.”
To me, the judge could have said the guy sued in the wrong court. The case wasn’t one to be appealed to the Supreme Court, but to originate in the Supreme Court.
So, I agree the case should have been thrown out. But because it was filed in the wrong place, not because we don’t enforce the Constitution until somebody is harmed by not enforcing it.
Tell the NYT the birth certificate is a national secret.
Harvey, I’m afraid that won’t do any good. Jones-Kelley is on administrative leave from Ohio. You see, Ohio law states that working for another State while on administrative leave is an ethics violation.

I think there may be something legitimate to reveal, but it would not stop him from being president. They would sooner amend the Constitution retroactively than do anything about upholding the Consititution as it now exists. that’s the reality.

The reason Obama’s true birth certificate can’t be found is that he was really born in Rome. The hospital burned down and all records were destroyed to cover the fact that he was birthed by a jackal.
The only way you could get the NYT to find Obama’s birth certificate is to tell them that on the back of it they will find proof that George Bush ordered the navy to sink a Greenpeace ship containing 150 transgendered marxists from Hollywood who were protesting the building of an oil rig 25 miles off the coast of San Francisco in order to save a handful of endangered baby fur seals.
I read that quickly and thought it said, “How do we get Helen Keller a job with Hawaii State Dept of Health so we can get a look at Obama’s birth certificate.”
