Aside from the closeness to the Nazi symbology, it’s pretty nuts that this guy is replacing American symbols with his own campaign logo. We are no longer American – apparently, we’re Obamican. You’d think that to sell his stuff, he’d try to incorporate American symbols, not his own… but then again, his arrogance knows no bounds. He did the same thing with the presidential-like seal before he was even elected.

This is what it reminded me of, at first.
Totally different.
One is a symbol of hate, oppression, death, and forcibly removing those who oppose your actions.
The other one is yellow.
Alright, it is funny. But on a basic level, there’s something creepy about a government that comes up with self-styled symbols as a touchstone so that the masses can stop thinking on their own and look to them in “unity” for guidance and direction. And, of course, the Obama administration’s symbols are creepy, too.

I think what Rush was driving at was the general look and feel of these thrice weekly posters and banners we see from the Obamacists. The shading, the poses of the masses in the background, the endless variety of the symbology based on the original Hopey-Changey Circle of Doom. It’s rather unsettling.
the obamacare one is sort of a rorschach test and this fact does not bode well for me. i see both ominous things and dirty ones. neither evoke “good health care for all” imagery. we’re screwed.

The Obama one is far creepier than the Nazi one. The Nazi poster looks old and dated and foreign , from something that happened a long time ago. Something that must be remembered lest it be repeated, of course, but kind of art-deco and obscure. The Obama one looks very NOW, very current. The Nazi one has the aspect ratio of a poster, but the Obama one has the aspect ratio of a TV set. You can almost see that on the screen over the emergency broadcast tones. The Nazi one is creepy like seeing an old black and white film of people in Nazi uniforms. The Obama one is like seeing your parents walking around in Nazi uniforms.
I’d like to see an analysis and comparison of the propaganda posters of the USSR or the 3rd Reich with the propaganda coming out of the White House. I wouldn’t be surprised if they were quite similar.

I am always amazed by the inherent blindness of the Main Stream Media. When Republicans are in office the Liberal left wing zealots are out in droves participating in First Amendment exercises and we are all supposed to applaud. Our leaders are maligned, insulted and defamed but it’s all covered in the First Amendment. Right?
Groups like ACORN, Black Panthers, PETA, MOveon.org, Media Matters for America, People for the American Way, Code Pink, the ACLU and the Democratic party have if not actively encouraged civil disobedience have turned a blind eye to rude, crude, crass,nasty, vile behavior and language. Does the title “Rush Limbaugh is a Big Fat Idiot” ring any bells? Was there a companion book “Rush May be Fat but He Can Lose Weight, Al’s Ugly Inside and Out and That Will NEVER Change”. Of course not. On the right we are interested in policies not personalities but we do now understand that this is the brave new world brought to us by the left.

I dunno why, but whenever I see that Obama’s logo my evil-mongering anti-zombie horde survival skills kick into high gear and I get the urge to buy a flame thrower just in case of a zombie attack or an invasion of the undead from Canada.
