Tip: One way to legalize that status of illegal immigrants is to send them back to their home country.

If Ron Paul was the last surviving man on earth, he’d still be part of the nutso fringe.

I’m not a bad man, but neither is a rock.

Every time I read Frum, I get very violent. He needs to shut up for everyone’s safety.

What would health care be like if we treated health insurance like homeowners insurance – only come into play for the catastrophic? How expensive would homeowners insurance be if it had to pay every time we had someone mow our lawn?

If there’s a vote, I’d be happy never hearing any news about John Edwards ever again no matter how salacious.

Anyone who didn’t see John Edwards as the biggest phony in politics should be disqualified from ever voting again.

  1. The same goes for Obozo the President voters.

Agreed. I believe it was Shakespeare, who said “Everyone who voted for Obama is a moron. That’s something that should be repeated every day.”

Frank, sometimes you say something so profound it’s scary

  3. Politics? You silly rubes! Haven’t you tuned into ESPN? It’s about Michael Vick! In case you haven’t heard, Michael Vick just signed a two year deal with the Eagles…pant…pant…pant…sorry, I was out of breath I’m so excited!!! Can you believe how unbelievably cool this is? This is like so 24/7 for the rubes out there!!! It will be just awesome!!! I just hope that at some point during the year my Vikings have the opportunity to step on to the field with such greatness!!! Well…gotta go…there might be new Michael Vick developments that I’m missin’!!! 24//7/365 baby!!!

This is actually the idea behind health savings accounts. Basically, you pay money into a (tax exempt) account and insure yourself for expenses coverable by that account. Then you only buy insurance which goes on top of your HSA.

Economically, it always makes sense to insure yourself where possible. If companies were not charging you more than they expected it would cost to take care of you, they wouldn’t make any money. (This is why it is always dumb to buy a warranty. Keep some money in an interest-accruing account instead.)

  5. I must say, I am disappointed. Only one Ronulan so far to weigh in? Oh, it’s the 14th. That must be the day the nurse comes by to give them their medications. Maybe the drugs will wear off and they’ll go all nutso soon.

I just want to wait and see the transcripts of his conversations with his love child from the womb. After that, I’ll turn it off. Promise.

  7. You know, I’m glad you mentioned Ron Paul. I’ve now had the opportunity to research his work, to look at his voting record, and to get a sense of the depth of his support in the country.

My life is changed. Do you know if he has a newsletter? Something printed, because I don’t think you can really trust these electronic thingies, with Google in league with the NSA and all.

john edwards? wasn’t he the homosexual psychic candidate that got caught betraying his shampoo with some slut? or was that the one that got elected, or the one that became vice president, or the one that keeps swallowing his neighbor? I don’t know, they all look alike to me.

Frank, you’re more correct than you know. I currently have coverage through my employer, but if should wind up buying insurance for myself, separate policies for (1) catastrophic care and (2) accidental injury would be the way I would go. Both these options are quite cheap. I have a chronic condition due to a man-v.-vehicle altercation 15 years ago (being the man, I lost), so I may opt for ‘gap coverage’ (which is similarly cheap) in the event something happens which would cause me to run through my HSA funds in less than a year but isn’t covered by the catastrophic policy.

Same thing holds for life insurance – at my age I would be most likely to kick off due to an accident, so I have a large accidental-death policy (again, very cheap) and a smaller term-life policy.

Divide-and-conquer is the way to manage this. And by the way… no, it wasn’t my fault I was in that accident, but it isn’t John Q. Taxpayer’s fault either. So, there’s no reason that John Q. should be on the hook for my medical bills. Advice to anyone else facing similar challenges: keeping yourself productive is the best medicine.

  10. When I say I oppose O-bah-muhhCare, Libtards say,” Oh, you’re just a Hater.” To which I reply, Actually, I’m a Despiser, not a Hater. There’s a BIG DIFFERENCE between the two, but only Libtards are too dense to understand that.

  11. When I see a picture of O-bah-muhh with a ‘funny’ Hitler mustache on it, I don’t think of Hitler, I think of Charlie Chaplin. That makes O-bah-muhh much more dangerous, because everyone loves ‘The Tramp’.
