Jon Stewart Gets Mad

Crowder’s recent video made Jon Stewart mad and got Crowder dropped from his manager:

That’ll teach Crowder to speak truth to power!

  1. Boy… thank goodness we live in a country where we don’t have to fear consequences for just words that we say. If we did, that would be because of the evil, fascist, Right… right?

  2. Do I need an opinion of this guy, Jon Stewart? (I’ve only watched him about twice.)

    Okay!

Boring. Cynical. Biased. Insipid. Not worth watching.

What’s that other guy’s name? You know, the one who pretends to be a Republican? Oh yeah, Stephen Colbert.

Put-on, contrived, silly, fake, snotty, inconsistent. Not worth watching.

  3. We’ve been talking about Schroedinger’s kat lately. Doesn’t it seem that Stewart is Schroedinger’s journalist? While he’s in the box (with the cesium) he could be either a journalist or a comedian. He only decides which one he is whenever he’s let out.

  4. Funny, I distinctly recall that he had Fred Thompson on the show shortly after his book came out.

Since he had a radio talk show at the time, you’d think that would qualify him as a conservative pundit.

  5. It’s odd that when the left wants to argue their policies they feel the best qualified people to represent their viewpoints are comedians. But then, I guess when you actually have no consistent core set of values to rely on there’s really no way to debate your ideology, so you have to resort to sending in clowns to try to make fun of the conservatives who have you factually outgunned.

  6. Interesting that Jon Stewart and his people’s response to being called out for censoring conservatives is to… bully a conservative in the hopes that he’ll shut-up.

Way to prove you’re a moderate there, bucko!

  7. Stewart learned his lesson on booking the “wrong type” of conservatives after Yoo quietly ate Stewart’s lunch in front of him, wiped his mouth with Stewart’s tie, and walked off stage.

  8. This duplicity is nothing new. Most people seem to know or at least suspect that the media has been listing to the left since the 50’s. Bernie Goldberg laid it out in ‘Bias’ so well that no amount of denial or feigned outrage could obscure it any longer. And while Mr. Goldberg asserted that the leftist slant in the media is not the result of some dark conspiracy, Chapman Pincher made it plain in his book ‘Traitors’ that agents of influence have always used media personalities to steadily feed socialist & anti-American sentiments at every opportunity until it just became so commonplace that it was just accepted as the norm. And then you wind up with a people like Stewart, Colbert, Olbermann & so on who become useful idiots to no one in particular.

Unfortunately for him, John Stewart is still under the impression that people don’t read books & simply get all their news from the news. It’s so obvious that he is the atypical media liberal; he really believes that he’s a moderate because that’s what he hears all the newscasters on the Big 3 networks claim whenever the issue of progressive bias comes up. Rather than come clean, they tenaciously hold to the fact that they’re decent, unbiased moderate people and, if anything, the media has a hard conservative slant to it(!).

Yes, they truly believe that. They don’t recognize the real bias because it’s just the way things are done; they don’t really know any conservative people and they can go most of their lives without interacting with them because they’re surrounded by people who are just like themselves.
In other words, anytime you see someone like Stewart proclaim how moderate he is, you can safely guess that they lean heavily to the left. In fact, you don’t need to guess simply because actions like those aimed at Crowder say more than any words could; it’s the hallmark of subtle influence: make leftist ideals so prevalent in everyday actions & statements that it becomes the norm. Then only people like Ayers & Garofalo are seen as far left while anyone to the right of Joe Lieberman is viewed (and summarily dismissed) as a Right Wing militia lunatic.
