For liberals, I’m thinking their only two lines are “That’s not fair” and “The government should pay for that”.
Lord knows I’ve never heard them say anything else.

Here is the apparent attitude of the Obama Administration on the 9/11 terrorist attacks in Benghazi:
What’s the big deal about 4 American deaths in Benghazi? It is still much safer there than being in Chicago, even on a slow weekend.
Grandpa John’s response:
Yeah, but when gangbangers report that they are under attack, other bangers immediately send backup.

A Personal Note to President Obama
There’s just one thing I’ll take exception to in this:
I well understand that the “tax the rich” mantra got you some political currency. But we both know that strategy will do little to stimulate anything other than jealousy.
I disagree.
“Tax the rich” is now a winning message in America, and Democrats have now proven they can ride that jealousy to power in any district (or nationally) where the voters are predominantly Johnny Punchclocks or Wanda Welfares.
The productive and entrepreneurial are officially an oppressed minority in America now.
I don’t think Bill quite gets that.
Something changed in America last week. We’ve crossed over from Atlas Shrugged Part I to Atlas Shrugged Part II.
What comes next is either Part III or chaos, fire, and blood.

To those who served before, with, and after me – thank you.
To those who were civilians from 1985 to 1991 – thank you for being the kind of Americans worth serving.
It was a veteran, not a reporter,
Who guaranteed freedom of the press.
It was a veteran, not a poet,
Who guaranteed freedom of speech.
It was a veteran, not a campus organizer,
Who guaranteed freedom to demonstrate.
It was a veteran, not a minister,
Who guaranteed freedom to worship.
It was a veteran, not a salesman,
Who guaranteed freedom to own property.
It was a veteran, not a travel agent,
Who guaranteed freedom to travel.
It was a veteran, not a politician,
Who guaranteed freedom to vote.
It is a veteran who salutes the Flag,
Risks it all for the Flag,
And who is buried beneath the Flag.

This week’s uncaptioned picture for you to play with:

Nothing really obscure this week. No prize.
PRODUCTION NOTES:
#1: When creating lolbama! pictures, please caption with either black or white text, as colors like red and yellow tend to blur badly when I compress the images.
#2: Standard image size for these posts is 350px wide by whatever high. If you can have your images 350px wide before you caption them, I won’t end up shrinking your captions into illegibility when I re-size the images.
MAKE YOUR OWN: The free lolbuilder from I Can Has Cheezburger.
STYLE NOTE: Short captions are usually better. Your goal is 10 words or less, with humor value tending to increase exponentially as the number of words approaches 1.
Send your submissions to lolterizt@gmail.com and – if they aren’t obscene (IMAO is a PG-13 site) and don’t suck too terribly bad – I’ll post them for you. Remember to include your name (and blog URL, if applicable) so I know who to thank.
