  1. Exit question, is it better to live in a world where the longer term temperature trend is hotter or in one where it is colder? And no Liberals you can’t choose “Stay exactly as it is now forever” that is not, and has never been, a possible choice.

  2. If the long term trend is for the temperature to get colder, in an industrial society this trend can be reversed or controlled much more cheaply than reversing a long term heating trend. Reversing a cooling trend can be done without significant changes to the way we use energy.
    By the way, I am definitely not a Liberal; I have never been a member of any political party because there is no party that I agree with all the policies of, and if I joined a party I might feel the need to defend policies I don’t agree with.

  3. The benefits of a warming general climate outweigh the costs of a colder climate. Neither of which is directly controllable by humans. The whole connection between humans and global climate change is still theoretical at best and given better data coming in, probably impossible on any scale given out actual abilities.
