Well, illegal aliens caught by ICE usually get a bond, or released if they get DWI’s without convictions. And if they do get convicted, they still can’t get deported…thanks to the 9th (circus) Circuit Court, where DWI is no longer a deportable offense. For example, there was someone in custody arrested for Domestic Violence in our office….since he was not convicted, he was released to the streets.
